To begin with, i would say that the customer is the king and politeness and courtesy goes a long way. But sadly, this sweet shop/chat corner knows nothing about politeness. I had ordered dahi bhalla and aloo chaat, they were pathetic and taste was outright disgusting because the spices were unbalanced and potatoes and bhallas were either undercooked or too spicy.
Now the politeness part, the person serving was so Rude and unwelcoming that I have made my mind to skip and never recommend this place, maybe he was under the owner's instructions or he lived in a fools paradise whatever may be the reason, The attitude of the serving person and the unwelcoming atmosphere of this atmosphere for an over priced low taste and quality of the serving made me regret stopping here moreover I had asked a Spoon of plain curd because the preparation which was supposed to be customised was made over spiced and had extra chillis which I never wanted nor would a person with allergy to masala would but This Rude person did not even bother to respond. This eatery thinks that It is the best place to eat unfortunately this eatery should be visited if you want to get insulted and later regret your choice.
The cleanliness and decor was something which is best left undiscussed because of the price and look of the place and completely opposite, the preparation and items on display looked stale and the seemingly fresh preparation was left open to welcome flies and insects so much so for health and huge at this price.
My suggestion, skip and...
Read moreRude experience from the person serving pani patashe/ gol gappe.. boss , you are charging almost 10Rs for each patasha , atleast make the experience of customer elevated to feel that he was not cheated.
It is customary to provide a dry broken patasha with spices without water after you are done eating . We were 3 people , the person serving at the shop gave 2 dry patasha (may be worth .50 paisa each) and refused to give the same to my 10 year old son! Saying he is permitted to give only 2!!! … THIS IS WHEN I PAID FOR 4 plates AMONG 3 people for almost 150 Rs. he asked me to get a token for that dry broken piece of patasha for my son. When I told him that I have paid for 4 plates … all you can do is to provide 1 such palate cleanser for each plate atleast … but NO … he did not give that to my son and I had to then share my piece with my child. How pathetic experience.
A tip for the shop owner - may be you are in the business for decades but you have lost touch with your customers . If after spending 150/- on may be 16 pani patashe , your people can’t make customer’s experience memorable …. There’s something seriously wrong. Anyways your shop , your business and your priorities…. As far as I am concerned, I am not coming to your shop ever… and will narrate the embarrassment your people caused me to let them decide if they want to go...
Read moreI came to this shop to eat golgappas, and after eating just one, my throat got sore. It's been three days since I've been suffering from severe pharyngitis. I've been coughing constantly, having trouble breathing, and experiencing symptoms of food poisoning. This is all because of their chutney, which was stale, and the water was so bad that I vomited.
I only ate one golgappa, and when I started coughing. They didn't even bother to give me a glass of water. I don't recommend anyone go to such a shoddy shop. The owner simply avoided eye contact. When I asked him what kind of golgappas they were selling, and if the 40 rupees they were charging for four golgappas was reasonable? It wasn't just me; the other person standing next to me also ate golgappas and developed similar coughing as me. This shop doesn't deserve a single star. Unless you want to end up in the hospital for health problems, I recommend never going to this shop to eat. Worst food, worst staff, just in a good location, which is probably why...
