Suggested by a friend who shares quiet a same food taste made me very keen to try it out.

Well a little hard to locate you might need Google map to arrive here

What did I order?

Chole Bhature - if you are from North and missing Dilli jaise chole Bhature, then in pune this place can meet some expectations. Chole very tasty, Bhature very less oily and crunchy and what do we call it bhaiya zyada fry mat karna, so it is a party to your chole Bhature taste buds and priced at a magic price of @80

Samosa chaat - Crispy masaladar samosa chopped and topped with all the chat ingredients, and obviously according to your kind of teekha or meetha @60

Gol gappe - trust me i have explored quiet a lot thela and pani puri outlets in Wakad, Aundh and baner, they serve literally the best gol gappe Each go gappa very big in size to overfill your mouth and pani too very tasty, this is the best that one can get @30

Jalebi rabdi - i am a jalebi dahi person, so jalebi rabdi never excites me so much, but once you get in here and you see the customers waiting and getting it packed in large quantities you really wanna try it, jalebi were good, and since I am a rabdi lover it did not taste that good to me and considering this found it a little bit...

[COVID Time Review] It used to be my favorite snack place in Aundh whenever I crave for some quick snack plus most importantly Rabdi-Jalebi 😍 - my all time favorite.

BUT... in Covid time, somehow they compromised with their food quality, Hygiene, Taste and presentation. May be less customer now, but quality and taste should never be compromised.

Observation:

  1. Very less hygiene - in case your all not planning for take-out.
  2. Limited Menu - which is fine, but what they said is available, with that no compromises. E.g. —— Pav Bhaji: no Bhaji, so serving with Chole, Really? —— Samosa Chat: cost Rs. 80, but it had just one Samosa, green chutney, mithi chutney, few onions, and pinch of chat masala, that’s it. Seriously???
  3. Plastic Spoons are all out in open, no hygiene over there too.

It’s only Rabdi-Jalebi for which I guess there is no such compromises in terms of taste and quality.

Hoping they bring back their...

My mom had organised a kitty party of senior citizens at this place after checking for necessary support and infrastructure at the restaurant. When called and enquired for specific senior support and food items the restaurant promised it. But when the party took place nothing was there. No support, no glasses for water (restaurant charged for providing thermocol glasses when seniors required for some glasses to given for drinking water), the food was pathetic and the Jain food was denied and then made only after a lot of pleading. Horrible service and worst ever experience for our senior folks. No support at all to get the food to the table for seniors.Highly unrecommended place. The restaurant could have informed earlier about the limited support for seniors and their specific requirements but they did not do so and later the staff...

After very many reviews I heard of this place, I decided to pay a visit. Yes the jalebi and rabdi is good, not the best, I have tasted better in Hinjewadi. But the most yuckiest thing was that the short staffed joint had no spoons when we asked for it. So after the owner fetched the guy, the man, just wiped the used spoons in a towel which was equally dirty. I had to wash my own spoon and that is not one of the best feelings in a public joint. So if you'd like to taste a bit of saliva with the rabdi, sure.

Kadhai Restaurant in Aundh, Pune, is a great spot for Indian snacks and sweets. Must-try dishes include Jalebi Rabdi and Papdi Chaat, which are crowd favorites. The restaurant offers a good sitting area, though parking can be a challenge due to limited space. While the food is delightful, the staff could be more proactive in their service. Overall, it's a good place to enjoy traditional Indian flavors.
