Fortaleza Co-operative Housing Society — Local services in Pune

Was staying there 2 years, now I moved and it was best decision which I made. Society is very old-style - security people are making problems to pass the people who are guests even after calling them - anytime need to go down and argue with them. Similar story with ordering food from Zomato and Uber. And please don't tell me it's for my security - call from my side should be enough, but they are trying to keep the rights in decision who is visiting me in apartment for which I'm paying a lot of money. They also don't bother if somebody who is local "chieftain" is taking Your car parking area, but making a problems when due to blocked parking by someone, Your friends are parking offside. This year was a lot of long power breaks, so without backup it's difficult to survive during summer (without AC) even for people who are out for the most of the time (power breaks happened often in weekends, however I heard weekly it's not better). Luckily there is no water breaks. I don't recommend staying in this society although location is good...

A very good society. Prime location in Kalyani Nagar. But the move our charges seem high. I was charged Rs.1000/- when moving out of a 3BHK flat. The same amount was charged from rest of the flatmates. The residents were cooperative and polite but the flat owner is way too bad. The downside of the society is the pollution (increased traffic jam due to metro construction). Although the location is good, but there is noise from traffic that irritates sometimes and the dust that makes the flat dirty in no time! The society is gated...

Large Gated residential Society with many many members in a bustling commercial area opposite a Cinema theatre complex. Lots of shops, commercial establishments, eateries all around. Very congested traffic signal crossroad & more so during rush hours. Road facing flats may be troubled by traffic sound, smog and proposed Pune Metro.
