🚩MINEORITY BY SABY🚩 A cool place, in punes one of the most Happening places.. Pune is blessed with many places but Mineority by saby is one of the gems, I visited There last week with couple of friends and had a fantastic evening ... Would like to share a quick Review .. So lets begin with it.!!! ✴️FOOD✴️ 🔰STARTERS 1⃣KALIMPONG CHILLI CHEES ROLLS ➡️this is just a treat to all the cheese lovers... Its Crispy Spring rolls filled and loaded with Spicy kalimpong cheese, and loads of Mayo ... This has already one my heart, and still craving for it... 🔥🔱Super Recommended 🔱🔥 2⃣SPINACH CORN QUICHE ... ➡️Basicllly a quiche is a savoury open flan or a pielike dish consisting unsweetened pastry but containing cheese and veggies or in this case it was spinach based, so contained taste of spinach and lods of melted cheese and corn ans chilli.. The tarts are freshly baked inhouse.. 3⃣LATIN QUESO FUNDIDO ➡️in simple words i can describe it as the best... Its basically molten cheese fondue contained mushrooms , croutons and homemade chips.. Honestly i hate mushrooms and i avoid it but here i didn't even realise that it contained mushrooms... 4⃣ NACHOS ➡️assorted dips, and homebaked nachos chips , topped with salsa sauce ,chopped exotic veggies... 🏴MAIN COURSE🏴 1⃣ CHANAR DALNA ➡️its badically served and eaten as main course where there is soft cottage cheese fried and made ad curry, the chefs secret masala .. Its orange gravy based and its served with butter naan or butter rotis... 2⃣TANGY VEGETABLE CURRY ➡️It was a curry based , contained coconut and had a mix veggies chopped in curry with aroma and taste of coconut... It was accompanied to be eaten by white steamed mustard rice.. With presentation on point.. As per my taste buds it was a little similar to khao suey ... 💢DESSERTS💢 1⃣CINNAMON TOFFEE PUFF ➡️its hot puff in twisted rolls style coated with cinnamon sugar and drenched with their homechef made toffee sauce.. This was beyond words to me, so delidh, with maintained sweetness.. 🔱HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 🔱 2⃣TRES LECHES CAKE ➡️Its a Latin American three milk cake, topped with cream drenched with rabdi.. 🔰 OVERALL VERDICT FOR FOOD 4⃣*⃣🔰 💢COCKTAILS💢 EACH COCKTAIL HAS ITS OWN STORY, TO MAKE IT SHORT WOULDN'T BE MENTIONING THE STORIES BUT WILL MEINTION THE CONTENT, read out the stories on uf visit to MINEORITYE BY SABY.. I tried a variety of cocktails here.. Below is the list 1⃣NARANGI - vodka based drink containing muddled kinnow orange and bloof orange syrup , fresh mint.. 2⃣MY YELLOW CANARY - it cobtains white wine, muddled fresg turmeri, fennie and lemonade.. 3⃣FIREFLIES IN THE ABYSS - Its gin based cocktail also contains gelangal from jaintia hills, sugarcane, passion fruits. 4⃣WALNUT SMOOTHIE -this was non alcoholic drink which wAs recently tried on the workshop by the Celebrity chef and the owner sabyasachi gorai sir. ThE COCKTAILS WERE BEAUTIFULLY PRESENTED.. WITH AMAZING SERVING STYLE.. WELL IT WAS SO MESMERIZING HAVING COCKTAIL IN FROM CAGE ETC . CHECK PHOTOS BELOW U LL DEFINITELY ORDER THEM ON YOUR VISIT... 💢AMBIENCE💢 Can't praise enough how beautifully the ambience is designed, so basic concept behind Mineority of sabby is, the owner wanted to represent his resto, bar cafe in a unique way, so the theme and idea behind Mineority by saby is its all themed like a mine .. Where there are pulleys, helmets, machinery, cycles, handcarts, a whole mine feeling and ambience with wall paintings , with birds in cages, its dimed surrounding but very happening, they also have a rooftop where the seatings r in ancient vintage mkdern fancy style, sweing machines, bird cages etc.. I m in love with the ambience and thats gonna make me visit this place again and again.. the entire glass is painted with the minestory, 🔰OVERALL VERDICT FOR AMBIENCE 5⃣*⃣🔰 ✴SERVICE✴️ Service is quick, promt, gentle, sweet, deccent, fast, polite.. No suggestions because they are perfect in terms of service, food, ambience.. OVERALL VERDICT FOR SERVICE TO 5⃣*⃣ ✳️🚩OVERALL VERDICT AS A PLACE 5⃣*⃣🚩✳️

Visited Mineority by Saby with Wifey and the brat. This is my second visit to this place and boy I love it here! They follow a concept of food and drinks from the mining regions of the Country- a dark tinge place but the ambience and vibes will cheer you up. The whole set up is as if you are entering a mine; right from the entrance to the stairs, the coal mine themed staircase- the miners murals and graffiti is all just brilliant. The place is as dark as a mine- literally. The interiors are old world charm meets idyllic rusty mines. The furniture is steel meets wood under a mango tree. I  particularly like their rustic crockery and the tumblers they use for different drinks which is ingenious. Drinks are presented so artistically and beautifully. Food is ambrosian- nicely plated, in verdant plates in arcadian style. Strikingly effervescent are two cocktails- 'fireflies in the abyss'- a mammoth of a drink which looks as if the tender lights of the fireflies lights up the dark bottomless chasm of the abyss- remarkable! 'Basil Mojito' even though named simple, the drink invokes a burst of flavours of mint and sweet basil with the combination of spirits. Food I ordered on the first visit was chicken wings, black chicken kebab, bruschetta, prawns in hot garlic, spring rolls and a host of other stuff all named uniquely- you have to give it to them for the plating. On my second visit their grub was much much more heavenly since they've introduced new items on the menu which are frightfully delicious!!! - starting from the Kalimpong cheese rolls- which of course I can't help but love since I have an emotional attachment to Kalimpong, the picturesque hill station near Sikkim. Harissa Prawns- skewer grilled shrimp on a platter dashed with harissa sauce- juicy prawns in a consistent texture of harissa and spices. Kosha Mangsho- the quintessential Bengali mutton; Kosher mangsho is the go to dish for all self respecting bongs and reverred like the maccher jhol. The spices and condiments are so perfectly intertwined in this dish that the mere whiff of it trickles your nostrils and you just can't wait to get your hands on it. Chilli Mustard Fish- a Bengali answer to the Oriental style of fish- batter fried snitzels of fish sautéed in light oriental flavour and heavily infused with Kasundi- the staple mustard sauce of all bongs- just brilliant! I will put it simply- what hummus is to an Arab, Kasundi is to a Bengali- period. Must try! Murg Nazakat-an advanced variant of the tangdi kebab adapted in a tandoori style with cheese- very smooth and filling- very nicely plated on a long black stone salver. Now comes the dish of the day! Grilled BBQ Pork Riblets- this is by far the tastiest Pork Riblets I've ever tasted and when I say this you can trust me since I am a much traveled man; seen the world to be precise. These skewer grilled riblets are juicy, succulent, tender and it creates a ripple effect on your palate- the light sweetness of the BBQ sauce with the smokiness of the grill with the crunch of garlic and oriental condiments- very very strongly recommended. For dessert we had Churros- yep, the conventional Spanish Mexican delight bought to life by Mineority- this larger than life dish is made of fried dough- crunchy outside, soft and melt in the mouth inside- dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar- you can dip it in their signature darling chocolate sauce and go nuts about it. The best in Pune for sure! Special thanx to Mr Das, the Manager for being such a jolly good fellow and recommending what best to try here- thanx to all the staff here especially the girl who served us- can't recollect her name though! Folks, this place is an amazing experience- dark yet desirous, rustic yet idyllic with virtuoso gastronomic delights, dazzling drinks and lightning fast service.

Mineority by Saby is a mark of respect to the Mining Community. The menu comprises of the flavours of specific places where mining is carried out in India as well as abroad. Kalimpong chilli cheese rolls – The rustic, slightly acidic cheese, which has a bit of tangy flavour, comes directly from Kalimpong. This flavourful mixture is wrapped in thin crispy filo pastry sheets making it an exceptional appetizer. These crispy rolls are to be dipped in a dip made with bhut jholakia and mayonnaise to balance the heat. Signature black chicken chunks – These chicken chunks resemble the dark black coal which virtually take you to the mysterious and gloomy coal mines. The black glaze is due to the crushed sesame paste and is served with the usual coriander chutney. Mining club cutlets – Surprisingly, these cutlets were brilliant. The flavours of ground spices, green peas, beetroot, cashew nuts and mustard sauce made these two cutlets really crispy and palatable. Latin queso fundido – This appetizer is served with chips and croutons to be dipped in melted cheese fondue. The chips are home-baked and are exceptionally crispy until the end. The seasoned croutons and chips are a perfect accompaniment to the toothsome cheese fondue. Mineority fried chicken – Fried chicken strips tossed in a spicy red chilli mix served with a fiery cocktail mayonnaise dip is an ideal appetizer to be had while relaxing with friends and family. Paneer Suya Kebab - These baked African style paneer satay are smothered in a spicy, flavorful peanut butter sauce and served with fresh salad. Shillong Mylliem Chicken – This one was my favourite dish from the mains. Mylliem is a small village tucked between Shillong and Cherapinji which is famous for its incessant rains. This dish had pristine flavours with pure taste of culture. The stir-fried scrumptious chicken when had with buttered paav was a heavenly combination. Chingri Malai Curry – The curry was a striking combination of fresh coconut milk and mustard. Whole shelled prawns are sautéed in this tasty curry. This dish is served in a bowl of kasundi rice which is delightful and heart-warming. Tres Leches Cake – You just cannot leave this place without having this heavenly dessert. This is a light, airy sponge cake soaked with a blend of three milks: evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream. Having this divine dessert is pure indulgence. Jurassic cheesecake – Wait, do not start imagining the layered American cheesecake. This is a desi-version of cake made with cottage cheese from Orissa, chena poda topped with guaja flakes. Dehati cookies and cream – This dessert consists of crispy crunchy sweet-dish popular in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh offered as a prasad on the popular festival 'Chhath'; guaja. These desi cookies are to be dipped in condensed milk offered in a small glass. Ambience: The restaurant is divided in two seating areas with an indoor area located on the first floor and a rooftop open terrace. The entrance presents a staircase where we can see a rustic old lamps and beautifully painted walls depicting the mining history with one titled as “Koyle ki khan” We have to enter through a wooden door which present a vivid and jovial decor. Tremendous efforts have been taken to bring out varied elements of mining through their decorated walls, distinctive graffiti, props such as cages, carpet area, wheels, books, wooden windows and poetry depicting mining. Service: The staff is courteous and knowledgeable with respect to the varied cuisines this place has to offer. I  particularly like their rustic crockery and the tumblers they use for different drinks which is ingenious. Drinks are presented so artistically and beautifully. Food is ambrosian- nicely plated, in verdant plates in arcadian style. Strikingly effervescent are two cocktails- 'fireflies in the abyss'- a mammoth of a drink which looks as if the tender lights of the fireflies lights up the dark bottomless chasm of the abyss- remarkable! 'Basil Mojito' even though named simple, the drink invokes a burst of flavours of mint and sweet basil with the combination of spirits. Food I ordered on the first visit was chicken wings, black chicken kebab, bruschetta, prawns in hot garlic, spring rolls and a host of other stuff all named uniquely- you have to give it to them for the plating. On my second visit their grub was much much more heavenly since they've introduced new items on the menu which are frightfully delicious!!! - starting from the Kalimpong cheese rolls- which of course I can't help but love since I have an emotional attachment to Kalimpong, the picturesque hill station near Sikkim. Harissa Prawns- skewer grilled shrimp on a platter dashed with harissa sauce- juicy prawns in a consistent texture of harissa and spices. Kosha Mangsho- the quintessential Bengali mutton; Kosher mangsho is the go to dish for all self respecting bongs and reverred like the maccher jhol. The spices and condiments are so perfectly intertwined in this dish that the mere whiff of it trickles your nostrils and you just can't wait to get your hands on it. Chilli Mustard Fish- a Bengali answer to the Oriental style of fish- batter fried snitzels of fish sautéed in light oriental flavour and heavily infused with Kasundi- the staple mustard sauce of all bongs- just brilliant! I will put it simply- what hummus is to an Arab, Kasundi is to a Bengali- period. Must try! Murg Nazakat-an advanced variant of the tangdi kebab adapted in a tandoori style with cheese- very smooth and filling- very nicely plated on a long black stone salver. Now comes the dish of the day! Grilled BBQ Pork Riblets- this is by far the tastiest Pork Riblets I've ever tasted and when I say this you can trust me since I am a much traveled man; seen the world to be precise. These skewer grilled riblets are juicy, succulent, tender and it creates a ripple effect on your palate- the light sweetness of the BBQ sauce with the smokiness of the grill with the crunch of garlic and oriental condiments- very very strongly recommended. For dessert we had Churros- yep, the conventional Spanish Mexican delight bought to life by Mineority- this larger than life dish is made of fried dough- crunchy outside, soft and melt in the mouth inside- dusted with cinnamon and powdered sugar- you can dip it in their signature darling chocolate sauce and go nuts about it. The best in Pune for sure! Special thanx to Mr Das, the Manager for being such a jolly good fellow and recommending what best to try here- thanx to all the staff here especially the girl who served us- can't recollect her name though! Folks, this place is an amazing experience- dark yet desirous, rustic yet idyllic with virtuoso gastronomic delights, dazzling drinks and lightning fast service.

Mineority by Saby is a mark of respect to the Mining Community. The menu comprises of the flavours of specific places where mining is carried out in India as well as abroad. Kalimpong chilli cheese rolls – The rustic, slightly acidic cheese, which has a bit of tangy flavour, comes directly from Kalimpong. This flavourful mixture is wrapped in thin crispy filo pastry sheets making it an exceptional appetizer. These crispy rolls are to be dipped in a dip made with bhut jholakia and mayonnaise to balance the heat. Signature black chicken chunks – These chicken chunks resemble the dark black coal which virtually take you to the mysterious and gloomy coal mines. The black glaze is due to the crushed sesame paste and is served with the usual coriander chutney. Mining club cutlets – Surprisingly, these cutlets were brilliant. The flavours of ground spices, green peas, beetroot, cashew nuts and mustard sauce made these two cutlets really crispy and palatable. Latin queso fundido – This appetizer is served with chips and croutons to be dipped in melted cheese fondue. The chips are home-baked and are exceptionally crispy until the end. The seasoned croutons and chips are a perfect accompaniment to the toothsome cheese fondue. Mineority fried chicken – Fried chicken strips tossed in a spicy red chilli mix served with a fiery cocktail mayonnaise dip is an ideal appetizer to be had while relaxing with friends and family. Paneer Suya Kebab - These baked African style paneer satay are smothered in a spicy, flavorful peanut butter sauce and served with fresh salad. Shillong Mylliem Chicken – This one was my favourite dish from the mains. Mylliem is a small village tucked between Shillong and Cherapinji which is famous for its incessant rains. This dish had pristine flavours with pure taste of culture. The stir-fried scrumptious chicken when had with buttered paav was a heavenly combination. Chingri Malai Curry – The curry was a striking combination of fresh coconut milk and mustard. Whole shelled prawns are sautéed in this tasty curry. This dish is served in a bowl of kasundi rice which is delightful and heart-warming. Tres Leches Cake – You just cannot leave this place without having this heavenly dessert. This is a light, airy sponge cake soaked with a blend of three milks: evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream. Having this divine dessert is pure indulgence. Jurassic cheesecake – Wait, do not start imagining the layered American cheesecake. This is a desi-version of cake made with cottage cheese from Orissa, chena poda topped with guaja flakes. Dehati cookies and cream – This dessert consists of crispy crunchy sweet-dish popular in Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh offered as a prasad on the popular festival 'Chhath'; guaja. These desi cookies are to be dipped in condensed milk offered in a small glass. Ambience: The restaurant is divided in two seating areas with an indoor area located on the first floor and a rooftop open terrace. The entrance presents a staircase where we can see a rustic old lamps and beautifully painted walls depicting the mining history with one titled as “Koyle ki khan” We have to enter through a wooden door which present a vivid and jovial decor. Tremendous efforts have been taken to bring out varied elements of mining through their decorated walls, distinctive graffiti, props such as cages, carpet area, wheels, books, wooden windows and poetry depicting mining. Service: The staff is courteous and knowledgeable with respect to the varied cuisines this place has to offer. Mineority by Saby is a must-visit place to have an enthralling dining experience and to explore wonderful cuisines, innovative cocktails and mocktails.

Mineority by Saby - a restaurant with a noteworthy theme of mining. It is in actuality a great consideration and tribute to the miners of the world - who actually put their lives at risk and work in the mine fields. Someone coming up with a theme such is quite fascinating in itself. 😃

What surprised me was they offered us a complimentary dish which was the LALOO ALOO SAMOSA. Samosa is a well-known street food - and a restaurant being able to bring a difference to it was commendable. This was served with the traditional ghugni. This was lip-smackingly good. The exteriors were crispy, deep fried with a stuffing of spicy mashed aloo. And to note it was in the shape of gujiya and not the usual samosa shape. We were so excited about the dish - that only half way through we realized there was no picture of the dish. 😋 So here you go. The KALIPONG CHILI CHEESE ROLLS were delicious - thin crispy sheets filled with dripping Kalimpong cheese and chopped coriander leaves served with a tangy sauce. It was yummy-licious! Looked so delicate... They were out of JHANJWALA PRAWNS and some other dishes which we wanted to order - this was disappointing. 😒 The manager suggested we try the HILL CORIANDER SICHUAN PRAWNS - served in a sizzling pan with prawn crackers. It was an absolute delight - stir fried prawns in a bed of gravy with fantastic flavors garnished with coriander and sukhi lal mirch. Waah....ahaaa!! 😋 The TRIBAL FISH AND CHIPS were notable - do not go by the appearance. 😆 I must have tried fish and chips in a trillion places, but nothing like this. It was more like a dish that is cooked commonly among the Odias/Bengalis called Patua - except the leaf coating stayed. The specialty was the Betki fish wrapped in a patra leaf and drizzled with mustard sauce. This was served with tamarind dips and potato wedges. The leaf gave it crispy exteriors and as you dig in, you would unearth the soft delicious fish.😎 One of a kind! The TUPULA WRAPPED CHICKEN and CHIPS was slightly disappointing, given the array of dishes that they had served till now were absolutely flawless. It was almost burnt - I am not sure how they served it, it appeared burnt and tasted burnt - the chicken pieces were grilled in the leaf wrap, served with potato wedges and chilly salsa. 😕 The SMOKED JUNGLE WRAPPED PANEER - was the vegetarian version of the above with well marinated char-grilled paneer - this was one had distinct flavors, the paneer was soft and luscious. The IMPERIAL RANGOON KHAO KUEY - made in coconut curry with flat rice noodles and topped with fried onions, peanuts, gravy and few other vegetables - it looked quite tempting. But it did not win me on the taste front. Served in a bone china covered with a mithi ka dhakan - serving pattern was impressive. I must mention - the variety of cutlery they used to serve the food was really eye-catchy.💗 The SHILLONG MYLONG CHICKEN - another stellar dish of the day. Served on a banana leaf were these heavenly juicy succulent, well-cooked chicken chunks in a delicious gravy. There was heavy usage of panch phodan and sukhi lal mirch - spicy and hot. This was to be had with pav, which was sort of new but interesting combination. 😀 The CACCIATARO PIZZA was thin crust hand rolled, stone baked pizza with a divided portion of chicken chunks, mushrooms, jalapenos and capsicum with the tasty spread on the pizza. Finely done. The perfect accompaniment for all food were these unconventional mocktails - the drinks were amazing - no complaints at all in that genre. The TRES LECHES CAKE - a three-layered milk cake in a bed of thick condensed milk and heavy on the cream. It had a topping of a beautiful dark chocolate in the shape of a leaf. 😜😇 It was moist and the texture was just perfect. The JURASSIC CHEESECAKE was a cheesy smooth, soft and spongy dessert but way too sweet. It was topped with guaja flakes - it was a nice twist added to the thick layered cheese cake having a mixture of condensed milk and whipped cream.

My Yellow Canary: There is fascinating story behind it!! A pretty little yellow birds that were carried in a cage hoisted above the head in coal mines to judge the levels of Methane Gas, thus preventing the miners from inhaling the dangerous fumes. This Drink is a fantastic combination of Gin (90ml), White Wine (30ml) Muddled Fresh Turmeric, Fennel, and Lemonade. The presentation of this drink was really good. The Glass was kept in a Cage with the Yellow Flowers Petals were used to replicate the feathers of the bird.... Wow #MustHave

Black Diamond: This drink is named after the first English style train that ran from Calcutta to the neighbouring coal mining areas of Asansol, whereas Black Diamond is also refer to Coal. This had the Combination of Old Monk (60ml), Earl Grey, Honey, Edible Charcoal Colour, and Cola. When the Drink arrived on the table it had a Sparkling light in it, which took the drink to next level. #MustHave

Georgy Peg: This drink is dedicated to the Iconic hollywood Actor, Gregory Peck of "Mackenna's Gold" Chef Saby has put his life emotions in the theme of this restaurant. Drinks Combination Vodka (60ml) Gin (60ml) Cucumber, Dill, Olives, Tonic Water. You can try if you like the combination.

Mahua Mehul: Its a Flowering plant that has the most fragrant flowers in Eastern India. It attracts bears that come to drink the Nectar of the fragrant flowers and get intoxicated. All the ingredients are freshly procured from their origination. Drink Combination Mahua Flower Berries muddled with Gin (90ml) Mint, and Lemonade. #Musttry

Paneer Suya Kebab: Suya is a spicy shish kebab (skewered meat/Paneer) which is a popular food item in West Africa. Small Panner cubes are marinade with ground spicy peanut and served with Salad/Kachumber. #MustHave

Smoked Jungle Wrapped Paneer: The chef takes all the efforts to create and present the dish on the table. Cooked with flavourful tribal leaf wrap from Manipur comes with gooseberry green chilli salsa and potato wedges. Each Paneer Cube is carefully marinated and wrapped in a tribal leaf and then it is cooked, the flavours of the leaf is felt with every bite. #MustHave

Laloo Aloo Samosa: The most common evening snacks of Bihar. Samosa ghugni chat is also one of the most common snacks from the streets of bihar. A very popular evening snack being eaten over a cup of tea. Samosa being very common snack largely eaten all over india and ghugni very common in Bengal and Bihar made with dry peas. But Chef gave a twist to this dish instead of Samosa shape he cooked in a Gujiya shape with a buckwheat. #MustHave

My Litti Chokha and Ghugni: Litti along with chokha is a complete meal originated and popular in Indian state of Bihar and Nepalese state of Madhesh; it's a dough ball made up of whole wheat flour and stuffed with Sattu (roasted chickpea flour) mixed with herbs and spices and then roasted over coal or cow dung cakes or wood then it is tossed with lots of ghee. Although very often confused with the closely related Rajasthani Baati, but it is a completely different dish in terms of taste, texture and preparation. It may be eaten with yogurt, baigan bharta, alu bharta, and papad. #Musttry

Jurassic Cheesecake: This was the winning dish of all the desserts. This is the most talked about dessert in the town. The origin of Cheesecake from the Indian context takes you to Odisha/Orissa. The Jurassic cheesecake was made up of chenna poda (early stage of cottage cheese) topped with a layer of custard and crushed guaja flakes. This is just Brilliant in taste. #MustHave

So lets begin with it.!!! ✴️FOOD✴️ 🔰STARTERS 1⃣KALIMPONG CHILLI CHEES ROLLS ➡️this is just a treat to all the cheese lovers... Its Crispy Spring rolls filled and loaded with Spicy kalimpong cheese, and loads of Mayo ... This has already one my heart, and still craving for it... 🔥🔱Super Recommended 🔱🔥 2⃣SPINACH CORN QUICHE ... ➡️Basicllly a quiche is a savoury open flan or a pielike dish consisting unsweetened pastry but containing cheese and veggies or in this case it was spinach based, so contained taste of spinach and lods of melted cheese and corn ans chilli.. The tarts are freshly baked inhouse.. 3⃣LATIN QUESO FUNDIDO ➡️in simple words i can describe it as the best... Its basically molten cheese fondue contained mushrooms , croutons and homemade chips.. Where there are pulleys, helmets, machinery, cycles, handcarts, a whole mine feeling and ambience with wall paintings , with birds in cages, its dimed surrounding but very happening, they also have a rooftop where the seatings r in ancient vintage mkdern fancy style, sweing machines, bird cages etc..
