Lot of shops for clothes, footwears, food & snacks, home furnishing, coffee shops, etc. You can bring kids also. Even it is a good place for elders to see and walk around the entire mall. Best thing is that they have a selfie spot decorated with lamps which is in first floor. Another good thing is you can find almost all the footwear branded shops in a single row. Have outdoor seating also. Floors, rest rooms and tables in dinning area are well maintained. Kids have a dedicated fun area. But due to covid it remains closed. Covid protocols are followed by the securities as well as shop representatives. Bus stop is nearer to the mall. But reaching through the metro station takes 10-15 mins walk.Nice place to visit in Chennai. Quite large shops all around, very good place to hangout with friends especially in weekends. I visited few months back, just wanted to share about this beautiful and spectacular mall. Everything was maintained on a regular basis. Good maintenance by the management. Especially eye catching lighting everywhere, one could take beautiful picturesFood, fun, happy atmosphere, great shopping place. From anna Nagar metro it is 1 km walk. Or you can take auto from there. Behind the mall, there is a open place which one should visit to enjoy the beautiful light view...
Read moreI recently visited VR Mall in Anna Nagar, Chennai – one of the most popular malls in the city. The vibe here is very modern and stylish, but honestly, it feels more like a hangout place for upper-middle class and rich people. Still, there are options for everyone.
🛒 What’s Inside
Liquor Shop (2nd Floor) 🥂 – Yes, there’s a TASMAC outlet here too, but the rates are on the expensive side. Mostly upper-class customers buy from here.
Spar Hypermarket 🛒 – Good for daily groceries and household shopping. Prices are okay compared to outside.
Fashion & Lifestyle Stores 👗 – Almost all premium brands are here (H&M, Marks & Spencer, Lifestyle, etc.), so if you’re into branded stuff, this is the right place.
PVR Cinemas 🎬 – Great for movies, neat screens and sound system.
Food Court 🍔 – Huge variety with local + international food chains. Perfect for families and youngsters to chill.
🎯 Who Will Enjoy Here?
Upper Middle Class / Rich People 💼 – Perfect for shopping, movies, luxury lifestyle items.
Lower Middle Class / Budget Visitors 💸 – Might find shopping expensive, but still can enjoy window shopping, food court, movies, and grocery shopping at Spar.
🚗 Parking
Big parking space available, but parking charges are costly compared to other malls in Chennai.
✅ Pros
Premium mall feel with international brand outlets.
Spacious and well-maintained interiors.
Great hangout spot with food court & PVR.
Good for grocery shopping at Spar.
❌ Cons
Parking is costly.
Liquor shop is expensive.
Shopping options are mostly high-end – not budget friendly.
Crowded on weekends.
🌟 My Overall Experience
VR Mall is a premium lifestyle mall – perfect if you’re from an upper middle class or rich background and want to shop branded stuff. For budget-conscious visitors, it’s more of a hangout + food court + movie + Spar shopping place rather than actual...
