Just moved back to the area after ten years. Used to love getting a takeaway here. Was always great. Have bought twice there in past month and thrown both meals into bin after a few bites. Bought Singapore noodles last night, 14/10/23, 7pm. Was thinking of ringing them to say food was inedible and wasn’t anything like Singapore noodles, but I couldn’t be bothered, just write off the €13 spent, and go get food elsewhere, which is what I did. Really sorry to see this formerly great Chinese, has gone downhill so much. Even the atmosphere is terrible. Young delivery fella left his car jammed tight up beside door into takeaway, while he went inside for 15 minutes, with his car audio system left at full belt, and I mean window shaking loud. Passers by kept wondering what the racket was about. Anyway, goodbye Host takeaway. Never again wasting money there.. He...
Read moreI am eternally confused by this place. They’re my local and I’m well used to their food but in recent times it’s impossible to predict . One night we’ll get food from there and it’s divine , gorgeous sauces , well cooked and fresh tasting . The next time we order the sauces are watery the chicken bites like it’s still raw (though it doesn’t look it in fairness ) and the noodles are burnt to a cinder . I’m assuming there’s different cooks there different nights but the difference is madness . One of the best Satays on a good night and literal orange water on a bad night . Come on guys there’s so much potential, staff are always so friendly delivery is always on point and the potential is there , someone Is screwing it for everyone in...
Read moreI wanted a spice bag without meat. They were a bit confused that I asked for tofu instead and they said they don't do that. eventually I received the spice box with tofu and was absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately my partner's noodles had toooo much turmeric and curry.
I would recommend to be more careful when you add spices and salt in the food as can be ruined easily. Also, add in your menu spice bag with crispy tofu for an extra few euros and be more flexible in terms of people's choices. We can pay extra when our needs are fulfilled. Especially when it comes about food.
Good luck and thank you...
