To be fair the Chips where very nice and deserve a 4* but the one star is for the chicken kebabs which spoilt the meals. DO NOT ORDER the chicken kebab it was disgusting cheap dark grey in color processed dare I even call it chicken. It had no resemblance to the texture or colour of chicken at all. Absolutely horrible I'm so disappointed especially at the price point of a kebab meal approximately €12.70 or something very close to that cant remember the price exactly. Its unfortunately the way the world is going with rising prices businesses are stressed and penny pinching and we all understand this hence the price hikes. But as a food place the quality of the food should be top priority. It seems at well over 12euro for the meal the rising costs should be covered in the price been charged and a real chicken fillet could have been used. Long term if you choose the wrong places to save a few bob its going to cost you more than you are saving when customers feet walk past your door and into a competitors shop. As a big family that eats from chippers about twice a week with a typical order of about 60 euro its alot of money to be missing out on especially when our regular chipper closed recently and we've been trying a few chippers in the area for a replacement. I also noticed that a previous reviewer had the exact same complaint about the chicken kebab and perhaps if you listened to that customers feed back you wouldnt be losing this familys combined 12 meals a week , and who knows how many others that didnt bother to tell you why they wont return. It's easy to ignore complaints but it's your business and if you use them to improve any problems they can actually help your business immensely and guess what the reviews are valuable free...

Let me just say the food is delicious and hate to be writing this.

I was the only customer in the chipper, handed my bag of food (only one on the counter) by the girl behind the till, got Home and realised they gave me the wrong order. Rang them to say the order was wrong, expecting a “sorry about that, we’ll drop a new order out to you, but considering you’re down the road it would be great if you could come back up as driver will take ages” something along those lines.

Manager didn’t seem to believe me or care, he asked the girl who was dealing with me and I could hear the whole conversation and she was speaking in a fairly confrontational manner about me trying to pass the blame onto me, even though I was sitting there and got handed a bag. I interrupted and asked to speak to her but the Manager kept saying “mistakes happen” I understand that, but a simple apology or acknowledgement of the error would have avoided this whole thing.

My partner went up to collect it as it was late already (even though I’d pushed for delivery as was not my mistake and after several back and forth they begrudgingly agreed to deliver) and again he didn’t offer an apology.

But I will be fair he did exchange the whole meal, so to conclude the FOOD IS LOVELY, service needs to be improved big time. It’s not about the mistake, it’s about how you handle it and treat your customers.

Usually ( when the owner is present) my regular order of breast of chicken with chips is very satisfying. On Sunday July 4 th I ordered a chicken kebab meal @€11.40 I expected a good quality meal.
