This restaurant looks appealing from the outside. Good sitting area, good music but too loud outside speakers, and loads of food selections. If you are looking to wait and kill time waiting for your food, this is your place. They took 40minutes for 2 seafood chowder and a pasta and fries. When we asked how long should we wait more for the food, the waiter said 'Kitchen is closed'. I said we had our order 40mins ago, thats the only time he checked and called kitchen. Their instant instinct for waiting customers is to slam them that the kitchen is closed, instead of checking the kitchen first. The seafood chowder is mediocre, pasta is too firm and, fries are horribly burnt. The wine is too watered down. So why complain here and not before leaving the restaurant? Its because nobody asked how was the food. It wasnt busy time as 2-3 servers are walking around, not to mention the restaurant was almost half empty. I could have given 2 stars for the location, but things got worse when I asked the bill, we waited another 15mins. So i went to the till and paid. I told the cashier i asked for the bill 15mins ago, and she just acted 🤷‍♀️. Just bring your business somewhere, the restaurant to the left is much nicer. I always support local businesses, but this one...

I did not stay in the hotel but stopped by the Bar & Restaurant for some food.

We arrived and were told there would be a 20 minute wait to place an order because the kitchen was busy, we said it was fine and took our seat.

Nobody brought us a menu or came to take drink orders so I went to the bar myself (not a problem). 30 minutes later we got a menu but then had to wait another 30 minutes to place our order, we ordered food and soft drinks and things went from bad to worse.

3 times a waitress told us our drinks were on the way and they finally arrived 25 minutes later. 40 minutes after ordering they informed us that the nachos my partner ordered where no longer available and she would need to order something else.

Food arrived over an hour after we ordered and it was OK at best. Frozen chips, a very basic burger and a tiny portion of chicken wings that they called a large portion. There is no reason a menu so simple and designed to get orders out quickly should take so long.

A table beside us walked out because a drinks order took over 30 minutes to come, and we would have joined them if we were not so hungry.

The staff did not seem to have any training with some waitress walking around seemingly doing nothing, while others were rushed...
