I and my family picked this restaurant randomly, just because my little daughter wanted pizza. I'm a professional chef of over 27 years, so food quality always comes first, and this is a proper casual dining restaurant, with the cozy and roomy environment. A modern opened kitchen with stone pizza ovens set in the middle of the floor, everyone can see the performances of the hard working chefs (couldn't see the other side, I guess 3 chefs were on duty?). Tables aren't too close to each other which I liked this the most as a customer of view, it gave enough privacy to the diners. Staffs were friendly and quite pretty, we got the table within 1 minute from the time we walked in. My little daughter had the kid set menu which included a starter, a drink, a main course with a few choices to choose from, and a dessert. My wife chose a pulled pork pizza, and I'd certainly chose the seafood linguine, because it was the easiest way to test the chef's cooking technique. The foods arrived within 15 to 20 reasonable waiting minutes, my first bite was the mussel, then the linguine, followed by the prawn, and then the squid at last. All the seafood were beautifully cooked, not chewy or gummy. The pasta was al dente with the perfect seasoning, and not much cooking liquid from the pasta. It was just moist perfectly! The pizza crusts were thin, crispy but not hard. The pizza sauce was balanced, and the ingredients weren't overcooked at all. We haven't had a high food quality dinning out experience like this for 2 years. My heart was smiling, while my mouth was busy to chew, and my palette was enjoying the flavour......ahh...... thank you chefs! The bill with all the quality&quantity foods, and 2 cups of cappuccino for €51 is a slam bargain to me. However, there was a small criticism to the floor staffs, and to the chefs from a chef point of view. Firstly, floor staffs are young, pretty and friendly, but why would most of them wore such a short blouse/ jumper/ top, and exposed their abdominal body part was puzzling me and my wife. Also, their jewellery (oversized earrings, bracelets, rings, facial piercing), nail varnish and gel nails weren't complied to the health and safety standards, and to the professional image as well. Secondly, in many occasions, the girls were chatting a lot, but nobody come to our table for the follow up in our 90 minutes visit which proved the service is on the weak side. Yes, one of you had the birthday because I could overheard your conversations from a distance...... I hope the management/ owner will take this more serious, and set a higher standard to this. Mean while, there was a lack of communication between the two chefs at the pizza side, and to the pass as well. One chef was too busy to handle most of the pizza, the other one perhaps should show some concern and offer a bit of help. Both of them failed to signal each other when handling hot food from behind someone's back, or operated the oven door. I hope they would take safety into the account and improve this asap. Safety always comes first! The floor staff was waiting for food patiently at the pass, but none of the chef from the entire kitchen walk up and communicate. This indicated the lack of leadership to me, someone must take control and cooperate with the front at the pass, otherwise, the people who will suffer are the diners. I'm saying this just because this restaurant should deserve a big success, and no star rating is dropped from my review. At last and of course, I'll return for food if I go...

Arrived today Sunday the 9th of June at 12:27 pm with my two young children after a hike in the Wicklow Way. On arrival the gentleman presumably the manager was friendly and inviting.
Before I proceed it is important to note that this is only my second ever Negative post on Google reviews. I'm from a service Industry back ground where I have worked serving international Blue chip Tech companies. Three key requirements being Customer Service , Customer Satisfaction and communication...all three of which platform pizza failed miserably to provide.
On being seated we received our drinks and menus however soon after ordering our cutlery and plates were placed in front of all three. My plate was filthy with clear residue of tomato or BBQ sauce , I highlighted and returned to our server and then received the plate in the attached photos clearly ,damaged and over used with signs of wear and tear . I asked the server to replace to which she replied that , that was the design of the plate...🤣🤣🤣. I was absolutely shocked and astounded. I thought that this was actually a wind up....expecting a candid camera or Jeremy battle to walk out.
Unfortunately I highlighted to our server that "No that was not the design it was wear and tear and over use ' after demanding a replacement she took the plate and disappeared. She reappeared seven minutes later and over the next eight minutes served another table walked by our three times with no replacement plate ....I'm not in anyway exaggerating this service. 15 minutes after requesting a replacement plate I received none....it beggars belief how these clowns are still operational
I called her attention and reminded her of the plate replacement requirement . The foreign supervisor witnessed all however never once approached or offered any assistance. The server was dreadful, as useful as an ashtray on a mo-ped.
To compound the issue the original front of house ( manager ?) came to our table as clearly one of the ladies highlighted our distain and probably noticed me advising customers coming in to go elsewhere where. The manager offered an apology but what should of happened was he should of offered the kids a free ice cream or myself a coffee as a gesture of goodwill ...nothing in fact they even charged us 1.50 per cordial of which my children had two of.💰💰💰.
Staff have bad days issues happen but when working in service the most important attribute is communication and having the ability to deal with conflicting situations when things don't go to plan. A little gesture than just serving lip service goes a long way two scoops of ice cream and an Espresso would of dispelled my anger and this review would not of had to of been posted.
Avoid at all costs the staff could not care and the business has no interest in customer satisfaction. I have all names of staff etc but for GDPR I have omitted in this post.
Unbelievably disappointed and frustrated, this review will be posted on all customer and tourist information sites
You ate pizza and wings restaurant not fine or even casual dining but there is a standard that needs to be provided , the plates supplied , I think the photos but according to the super Platform Pizza staff that's the design of the...
Read moreDon’t go unless you book a table or are going on a weekday. Went to this place last Sunday with my partner, we usually sit outside, but this time there were no tables available there (only went here on weekdays before). We were seated inside, at this table which definitely never gets booked, as it is extremely uncomfortable, and is definitely just put there for making more profit. This table is right in front of the kitchen, so you sit facing all the cooks, and honestly it’s very noisy from all the cutlery clucking happening in the kitchen. The pizza oven is also right in front of your face and you can feel the hot air radiating from it each time they open it. My eye contacts were completely dried out after seating at that table due to that oven. The ventilation in the restaurant either doesn’t work or on the lowest setting, I felt actually dizzy there, and as a result couldn’t eat anything. The table is also surrounded with some kind of staff areas on both sides, so gives of the “seat next to the toilet on the plane” vibe. Would definitely never agree to sit inside in this restaurant ever again. The cocktails I had were good, and the food is great each time we visit.
Feels like the business owners don’t really value their customers and just want to make as much profit as possible at the expense of the...
