The bar itself is decent – full of character, with a bit of history and a cosy, traditional atmosphere. Having an IPA on tap is a real bonus and makes it worth a visit.
The main downside was the service from one of the bar staff, a blonde woman. Unfortunately, she came across as quite rude and dismissive, which made the experience less enjoyable. When I asked politely about the beers on offer, the response was abrupt and unhelpful, and I noticed other customers receiving the same treatment.
Good customer service is about clear communication and showing a bit of courtesy – something that was definitely lacking.

First of all, nobody even showed up, only the bar keeper was there and he let us order food, eventough the cook wasn´t even in the Pub. We got treated with a glas of coke because of the wait. I took a bad fall in front of their bar one afternoon and they were on the spot helping me, taking me into the bar to recuperate enough to walk back to the hotel. I went back the next day to eat there and thank them for the help. When I went to pay, the owner wouldn't have it. He was a gentleman of the highest order and made me feel welcome beyond words.
