Terrible Experience with DID Waterford â Would Not Recommend
I purchased all the electrical appliances for my new home from DID Waterford, expecting a smooth and professional service. Instead, it turned out to be a nightmare.
First, they delivered a damaged fridge covered in scratches. I showed it to the store manager the very next day, and he promised a replacement would be delivered. That was over a month ago, and Iâm still stuck with the scratched fridge. Iâve called numerous times and even visited the store in person, only to be told repeatedly that âthe delivery guy is not available.â No follow-up, no urgency, no solution.
As if that wasnât enough, I also paid in full for a TV a month in advance. Just a few days before the scheduled delivery, I even called to confirm everything was in stock, and they assured me it was. But on the actual delivery day, they told me the TV wasnât available. I had no choice but to buy a larger, more expensive model, which cost me an additional âŹ600, even after a so-called discount.
This entire experience has been stressful, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I regret ever choosing DID Waterford and would strongly advise others to shop elsewhere unless youâre prepared for delays, broken promises, and poor...
   Read moreNot really sure where to start. I was told by the online DID team to deliver my scooter to the Waterford team so they could arrange collection for repair. A member of staff told me to leave the scooter with him but we never exchanged any information, receipt, anything to say I actually left my scooter there. Then I was told I had to send my details via email such as receipt and so on. It has been 2 days and I've heard nothing. I'm honestly afraid to go back to the store because there's literally nothing stopping me from being told I never left my scooter there. -600�
UPDATE 16/08: I finally heard back 2 additional days after posting this with little information. It has now been almost 10 days and I'm still clueless as to where my product is and/or if & when I'll be getting it or a new one...
