We tried Lana again this evening and the experience couldn’t have been more different. We called Jessica directly to order and the delivery arrived within 20 minutes, piping hot and exactly as ordered. The food was delicious: tender chicken, perfectly cooked duck, gorgeous flavours, generous portions. They stayed true to their promise after we complained last time and offered free mains. We won’t need the free mains to go back - this time, everything surpassed expectations. So glad they’ve ironed out logistical difficulties.

The food looked aesthetically pleasing and might have been edible once, but we’ll never know. Ordered and paid before 7.30. At 9.05, we called and they said it had left 5 minutes ago. (We live 5 minutes away.) At 9.45 we got a phone call wondering where in the hospital they should deliver to. (We’re not in the hospital.) It eventually came at 9.58pm, delivered by a very harassed driver, who said he’d just picked it up. (It was stone cold.) We both eat in and take away regularly and never had an issue but last night 15/7/22 my wife and myself went out for a meal. We were seated OK. Front the start there starter was delivered with a side we ordered for the main. This was OK the guy took it back and we continued. The main came and the food was spot on but as soon as we finished the waitress immediately asked did we want the bill. My wife asked about ice cream and we were told there is none so this was OK. We were finishing our drinks and once again immediately the waitress brought the machine to tap etc. It was like they wanted us out of there and quite frankly I have never received such a hostile experience anywhere else. We said nothing and left immediately. I wanted to say something but my wife said leave it and write a review. I saw another couple leave without eating shortly before this. Appalling service. Ordered from here a while ago and had a pretty bad experience with the delivery driver. Shauna from Lana was absolutely amazing at dealing with the issue, despite her having what seemed to be a rough time with said delivery driver.

Just got our free meals which were amazing offered because of the issue and wanted to leave an amazing review!

The food is excellent and the customer service amazing, down to the cute little note on the delivery packaging (see pic, I had mentioned I was having a cheeky glass of wine on a Tuesday), to the immediate response and offer of free sit down meals as an apology. We opted for take out and had a gorgeous meal tonight.
