The Experience with the staff of genius bar in via rizzoli was very bad , I had fixed an appointment to check my iphone after an update cellular data not work any more , then totally blocked when i reset it . Without any checking (only physical checking to see that if i broke it) they told me (two managers and one genius bar ) , that my iphone need to repair and it cost around 600 Euro because the hardware is broken from inside , or to go to the seller to replace it because it had passed more than 12 month and they cannot do anything ( exactly 18 month not more than 2 years ) , I had explain many times that my iphone was blocked during an update but they never believe me and they told me that the phone is broken even it seems that its new .
i call the apple support many times after that (many of them they told nothing to do) and finally there was one person that help me a lot , i restart the iphone in DFU then and the problem was fixed .
I dont recommend anyone to speak with genius bar there if they have any similar situation , because they dont want to work and they will only tell you that your phone is broken it need to...
Read morefrom the moment i left the US, i had - quiet suspicion that i would somehow manage to shatter my phone abroad—i indeed fulfilled that prophecy. thankfully, it led me to the most beautiful Apple Store i’ve ever stepped foot in, right in the heart of Bologna.
i walked in on a Friday mid-morning without an appointment, and they were kind enough to slot me in just a couple hours later. i was helped by Lorenzo, who—despite never having worked with a phone from outside the country—handled everything with so much care and patience. he walked me through every possible outcome if the repair didn’t hold, made multiple calls to ensure i’d be supported by other Apple Stores along my travels, and managed to get my phone perfectly fixed in under 90 minutes.
besides Lorenzo, every person i interacted with at the store was incredibly friendly, and showed me grace for knowing only approximately 25 words of Italian. the view from the second floor was stunning—i watched little tufts of poplar fuzz drifting through the sunny streets of Bologna while waiting. 10/10 would crack...
Read moreI visited the store in via Rizzoli in Bologna today, June 17, 2025, at around 10:30am. While the young woman who assisted me was courteous and professional, the store manager on call at that time definitely needs some updated training on customer care. He was just downright rude and arrogant. The exact same thing (I am a US citizen who lives in Bologna, and financing was not available to me) could have been said very differently than the insulting, rude, arrogant way he did. Although I live only about 100 meters from the store, I will NEVER set foot in there again. By the way, Apple Store, your store policy is obsolete and in dire need of updating. I simply walked into a TIM Store and walked out with a brand new iPhone, no problem. Happy to have brought my...
