This restaurant is a tourist trap. We were hungry and saw how busy the restaurant was and mistook that for a good restaurant option. The waitress appeared annoyed by our presence and made a face while we ordered (I am now grateful for that because it was her expression that had me eliminate a dish we had planned to order at the last minute.) We ordered the grilled vegetables, the lasagna, the gramigna with sausage and the chicken with Marsala wine. The pros? The food came out quickly, and the portions were massive. As I mentioned- the restaurant was very busy and it was obvious that most of the waitstaff were doing their very best. The cons? The quality of the food was absent. The bolognese lasagna tasted as though it was made with a jarred sauce, the pasta was most certainly not homemade and the grilled vegetables came to our table cold. We have enjoyed every single thing we have eaten along our 6 days in bologna with the exception of this meal. I hate to waste food and we intentionally opted to not finish any of the food. Our waitress brought the food but never again came back to our table. In the less than one hour that we were there- we were approached by at least three street vendors looking to sell something, yelled at by someone passing by and then had a “street performer” solicit customers for money for his 7 minute “performance.” Overall- I would go literally...
Read moreWe ordered two truffle pasta 18 euros and they were cold inside and not tasty at all. I assume that they were just from packages or something and they didn’t heat the food enough. Really disappointed and they still charged us full price without any compensations:
Reply to the answer: One: We were charged for both of the pasta perfectly and we were not even given any option for compensation. JUST Sorry sorry. Empty words when we left which did not mean anything. Two: BOTH of the Truffel pasta were COLD inside the chunk. IT WAS OBVIOUS that the reheating process did not go through because the inside part was cold. The child thought it was too disgusting and couldn't touch. The adult tried to eat still some even though it was disgusting. We were not even asked how the food was until the moment we were leaving. That is WHY we did not ask for replacement. WHY would we want the replacement for something that you are gonna JUST reheat again in microwave or somthing? How dare you to lie about not charging for the both? We were charged for both perfectly and were not even given any compensation except heating...
Read moreI’m super disappointed by the service at this place. We were looking for dessert on a Sunday evening, when most coffee shops were already closed. We found this restaurant on Google Maps and came here specifically to enjoy dessert and coffee. However, when we tried to order (just two desserts and two coffees), we were told that we couldn’t — apparently, they only serve dessert if you’ve ordered a main dish. Thanks, mom. But seriously, we felt really unwelcome. I even explained that we came here just for this, thinking they might make an exception, but they flat-out said they didn’t care. The restaurant wasn’t even busy, and the desserts and coffee weren’t exactly cheap. It’s frustrating that if we had ordered a basic pasta, we could’ve stayed, but coffee and cake for the same price wasn’t allowed. This policy immediately killed our impression of the restaurant — and honestly, of the city a bit too. Ironically, we were planning to come back the next day for lunch, but after this experience, definitely...
