Pizzeria Nettuno in Bologna is a must-visit for any pizza lover. The owner is very friendly and skilled, and he makes the best pizzas in the area. The prices are also very reasonable, making it a great value for money.
I recently had the opportunity to try Pizzeria Nettuno for the first time, and I was blown away. The pizza was perfectly cooked, with a crispy crust and a delicious sauce. The toppings were also fresh and flavorful. I especially enjoyed the Margherita pizza, which was made with simple but high-quality ingredients.
I also appreciated the owner's friendly and attentive service. He was happy to chat with me about his pizzas and his passion for cooking. I could tell that he takes great pride in his work, and it shows in the quality of his food.
Overall, I highly recommend Pizzeria Nettuno. It's a great place to go for delicious, authentic pizza at a reasonable price. The owner is also very friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
I'll be back again for sure!

Read moreAn authentic small Italian pizzeria in one of the side streets right off the central square Piazza Maggiore.
Usually, anything in the very centre is a typical tourist trap, including food - overpriced, inauthentic, low quality, etc., which is why most of the time, I avoid venues in the old towns.
Nettuno, ladies and gentlemen, is a massive exception to the rule. Delicious, fresh and authentic pizzas of various sizes and types for very little money. Cool, kind and attentive pizza makers that know english quite well and can recommend you the best pizza for what ingredients you usually like. And you won't wait very long, maybe 10 minutes max.
There are several smaller tables inside (1-4 people) if you want to eat in, but it's also possible to take the pizza with you - I recommend walking few minutes to Piazza Maggiore, sit on the stairs of Basilica di San Petronio, watch the people walking by and enjoy this delicious goodness.
If I ever come back to Bologna, you will find me at Pizzeria Nettuno....
Read moreSaturday night feels like a good time for pizza. This small spot located on a side street close the piazza Maggiore is a great spot for a quick afternoon snack. The owner is kind and friendly and whips up a pie in short order. It’s like a prefer it. Thin and crunchy crust. Holds up. Didn’t flop. I ordered the Quattro formaggi which means 4 cheese. I’m a big fan of Gorgonzola but not everyone is. The good news is that they offer quite an extensive variety of pizzas. So there’s something for everyone. They even offer three different sizes a mini, a normal, and a gigantic size. The mini is pretty small probably about 6 inch maybe 7 inch diameter. I ordered the normal size which is likely about 10 inches in diameter wet in the states we would call personal size. The gigantic size seem really big and a great size to share with a...
