Villa Corsini — Local services in Florence

Although I've read the reviews, and many visitors got to see only the gate, I decided to try my luck, because I've seen those wonderful pictures of the villa. It was of course closed, with no information on the door.

I saw that the owner directed a person to a site where you can check the visiting hours, but of course again.. The site does not exist.

It's such a shame for the people to take their time to go this far to visit the villa, only to find out only on the spot if it's open or not. In my opinion there is no respect for the people interested to visit the villa and as I see it it should be simple: you either close it to visitors or put (and most important) respect the visiting hours.

Classico esempio di scempio all'italiana. ..do 5 stelle alla bellezza della villa e ai custodi che si trasformano in ciceroni accompagnando le visite con tanta dedizione. Per il resto va detto che viene utilizzata come magazzino del Museo Archeologico di Firenze e in piccola parte degli Uffizi. Nella limonaia ci sono stipate opere in attesa di restauro dall'alluvione di Firenze (Novembre 1966). Il giardino non si può visitare perchè non è in sicurezza ma si vede bene dal primo piano. Ennesimo caso di Google che non vuole capire che qui non ci sono stato. In pratica: l'ho vista di notte post-concerto ed ero abbastanza sbronzo, quindi penso di aver capito qual è.
