Mood Market — Local services in Milan

A really cool, hip and upmarket place that offers dine ins, takeaways and a good selection of Asian products (for both fresh, frozen and dried goods), especially interesting Asian snacks. Though they do not have a wide variety of fresh or frozen produce, they have items that are not found in other Asian grocers (like the various Asian snacks, Hai Di Lao soup base, PiPaGao cough syrup, pork floss bread etc) They have a membership loyalty program too. I love the well designed interiors and it opens till late (10pm) which caters well to the last minute shopping....

This review is speaking purely to my experience. Selection is great. But the guy who was my cashier was fumbling around with the change at the end of check out. I felt like he was taking a while to give me my change. Turns out, instead of giving me my 6€ coins owed, he gave me Thai coins worth much less in value. I had my young kids with me so I was a bit distracted. But there was no mistake this was intentional just to steal money during this transaction. Why else would you keep Thai coins in the cashier drawer if you’re not intending to do this swap here and...

A very furnished Asian supermarket that has evrything you can dream about! I found the viral Latiao and I could finally try those in this store, the only negative aspect of it is his customer service as the personal seems to be rather cold and very dismissive, I tried speaking Italian and English but I was met with mostly silence or head nods... besides this very.. warm customer service I was rejoiced to have found this...
