We were fortunate to get a bike to rent and that went fine. Be careful much pricier up the mountain than say in Ortesie. Anyway we came back to return the bikes and asked the guy who took our bikes directions to get back to Ortesei. He did not like my pronunciation so we said it differently after he was annoyed and said that doesn’t exist. Then he said he had no time to tell us. Dude, it was 4 in the afternoon and no customers were there but us. A real jerk. They are in the tourism business is it that hard to give directions? So one star. Reserve early their bikes! It is one of the very few bike rentals in Seiser Alm and is hugely popular. They even have ebikes for 6 year olds which is quite amazing! But you have to be sure of your bike size otherwise you will be out of luck on a good day in summer. I reserved in person but they still got my order wrong. Fortunately in the end they found us a spare kid ebike. Thank God otherwise the whole trip would have been ruined. You can do the whole Alm including going down to Ortisei and the valley in one day. Shop I’m sure is great, but delivering skis is not worth what I saw this morning. The driver in Kastleruth at 850am on May 22nd is a liability and should have driving privileges revoked. In a 2km span, they almost hit two pedestrians, a group of bicycles, took 4 blind turns fully committed in the opposite lane, and exceed speeds of 100kmh in a 30KMH ZONE.
