Went to see Mount Kimbie in November. The show itself was outside in a tent, but it was crowded enough to not get cold, although the temperatures were already quite low outside. The crowd was young, the atmosphere laid back and the ticket rather cheap. I suspect the venue is best enjoyed in summer, with all the greenery around it and what not.
Two warnings though. First of all, the ticket itself is not enough to get you in, because you have to have a ARCI membership card (I understand this stands true for all shows, not only this particular one). This came as an unwelcome surprise for us, because as we're not locals, we would've preferred paying more for the ticket when we bought it, instead of getting a card that we'll probably never use again. The good news is though that you can just fill in a short form and pay €10 at the site and that's it.
Secondly, we came by bus nr 73 from Milan, just as Google Maps suggested. We got off at V.le Forlanini Via Circonvallazione (Segrate) and were prepared to go a kilometer on foot, but what we weren't expecting was that half of that route didn't have any sidewalk. It was pitch dark and we had to walk on a highway, hoping we won't get run over by cars. Rather unpleasant. I suspect there must be some better...

However, the place itself is kind of cutoff from anything else, and at night, by public transport, it’s kind of difficult to get to/from. Also, the people handling the entry process were not the friendliest, they treat people with a certain roughness, and are somewhat invasive about the searching and ticketing before entry.
The interior and spaces are kind of cute, the signage is nice, but there’s also no space (that we could find) for coats and/or bags (like a cloakroom). The bar staff were nice though, and the beer was good.
Overall, it’s a place where you’ll probably find events at an affordable price, but they also require membership to the ARCI network to attend those events, adding another layer of ‘hidden’ fees to those events. It’s an alright place as long as you know what you’re going into and are okay going a bit out of the city...
