Ristorante Pegasus — Restaurant in Segrate

We recently dined at the restaurant of this hotel, and while the food itself was actually quite good, the service left a lot to be desired.

It took 16 minutes before anyone came to take our order, even though staff members passed our table at least 21 times. No one offered to refill our drinks or check in with us during that time.

There was minimal communication from the staff. One waitress — a blonde woman — simply brought over the card machine without saying a word or confirming the bill. Another staff member, a woman with dark hair, briefly asked if everything was okay, but didn’t bother to clear away our empty plates. These may seem like small details, but they add up to a very poor impression of service and hospitality.

To make matters worse, loud music started playing just as we were about to eat — apparently due to a staff party. We weren’t informed about this in advance, and it clearly annoyed many other guests as well.

The only team member who stood out positively was a young man with a ponytail. He was polite, observant, and actually attentive to the needs of the guests.

Finally, we noticed that the breakfast station hadn’t been cleared in the evening, leading even one guest to grab an apple from it — a clear sign of frustration with the lack of organization.

Do yourself a favor and end your trip on a high note by finding a better place to eat. I highly recommend spending the money to take a taxi to a place with better prices and better food. The prices are outrageous for the low quality of food. If you are forced to eat here, do not order the bruschetta. It was a huge disappointment and tasted like stale cardboard bread topped with dried basil (not fresh) and pale tomatoes. AVOID IF YOU CAN!!! We were seated and waited 30 mins for a dinner, and no one came to take our order. We asked a waiter and he said “give me two minutes”. And 15 more mins passed by.
