Temakinho Linate — Restaurant in Segrate

Let's start from the key topic: the food. Absolutely terrible, poor quality, poorly assembled together and tasted worse. The sushi rolls were falling into pieces as soon as you held them, put together poorly with poor ingredients. Two guys in the kitchen can be seen preparing the sushi rolls not exactly in an inspiring way. Advice for managers: it might be better to hide the kitchen if people inside are not happy to work for you! The place was almost completely empty when we arrived but the two waitresses let us wait until one of the few tables occupied is free, as they were clearly trying to use a limited number of tables to minimize cleaning and maintenance. The table is cleaned by the waitress with an old smelly dump cloth that she has been using on other tables without being washed or rinsed. Ambience not existent, cold, uninspiring. The best thing was the bottle of beer. This is the last time they see us in Linate. bye...

We stopped at this restaurant for a quick dinner before catching our flight, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When we walked in, the staff told us that the ladies behind us needed to be seated first, which didn’t make sense as they were still browsing the menu while we were already waiting.

Once seated, we received no attention from the staff. Instead, they spent time explaining how to use chopsticks to the same ladies that were behind us, who btw already had their drinks and food, while we continued to wait. After 30 minutes with no one taking our order and with a flight to catch we decided to leave.

usually airport food is drama For example, Schiphol airport is full of horrible food offerings. There are exceptions though. This is one. Restaurants that are part of a chain also usually serve not so good. This place is an exception. Go to the airport a little early and after security you'll find this place. Or when you arrive you just walk back and eat here. We had a great mixed sushi platter here. Cocktails are great too. Recommended!

Update: the plate i took a picture of one year ago is no longer available. That's a shame. Whats worse is that they must've changed cooks or so cause the ceviche is too acidic now. Its a shame cause it used to be...
