Lido Charly — Local services in Tropea

Food was ok! It wasn’t amazing, it wasn’t bad it was ok. My issue was our 2 meals that we ordered, didn’t say that it came with a salad, but small bowl of salad came! (Standard procedure in any half decent restaurant) The Bill came and the salad was €9 on top. I politely explained that we never ordered this. Then came the manager I assume! She was shouting saying “why did you eat the salad, you should of sent it back” (So I guess if you do order this €9 salad it may of been sent out and returned multiple times according to her method of running a restaurant) I replied that I honestly thought that the salad just come with the meals after all it’s a €1 salad not a filet steak!!!! Again she shouted “why did you eat the salad, you should have sent it back” Then I replied and said, the more important question is Why did you send the salad!!!!!!!! The service is outstanding compared to other places in Tropea where they don't care about you. Food is excellent and made with care and love. The Staff is so nice and I really appreciate it. Sono stato a cena con la mia ragazza in questo lido caratterizzato da un ambiente perfetto, familiare. I camerieri sono stati gentili e disponibili. Nonostante avessimo prenotato mezz'ora prima ci hanno accontentato, accettando anche la nostra richiesta di cambiare tavolo per avere il mare di fronte. Abbiamo scelto un lido per la nostra cena perché volevamo mangiare affacciati al mare e su questo il lido Charly non ci ha deluso. Abbiamo cenato con il mare che si estendeva davanti a noi ed Il suono delle onde che si infrangevano dolcemente sulla riva ha accompagnato la nostra cena come una melodia rilassante. Ci siamo sorpresi del cibo, piatti di ottima qualità e quantità, ahimè l'unico lato negativo sono stati gli spaghetti un pò indietro di cottura, che però compensavano con un ottimo sapore e con delle vongole freschissime e squisite. Anche la frittura è stata ottima, siamo riusciti a dividerla in due nonostante fosse per una persona, anche qui il pesce era freschissimo e la frittura era croccante e non oliosa. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Super approvato.
