We enjoyed a morning visiting the island of Murano. Although we had been there several times this visit we learned more from our 2 hours with her than we had all other visits combined. Luisella has a wonderful combination of passion for architecture, art, history and culture. She is great storyteller and moves at a pace that is not too overwhelming while staying energetic. The next afternoon she guided us through the Gallerie dell'Accademia. Luisella taught us how to study and understand the stories within these masterpieces. What a great day we had today even the rain could not affect it. It is not our first time in Venice but can’t believe how much we missed. We had walking tour around Venice today with Luisella including a visit to marionette artist Roberto. We are a family with a 14 year old girl. Luisella was a great guide. She is super knowledgeable and a lot of fun be around. She adjusted tour based on our interest. We learnt a lot about Venice and parts of the city where locals live. She also took us to visit a marionette studio, that was the highlight of our day. It was very interesting to learn the history of the marionette and see how they are made. It is definitely art.
