The very kind store manager, Grazia Giovine, took great care of me and my friend. She took time to show us what I was interested and then added to the experience by showing Franco’s most famous piece, the Ikoniko Heart. In the photo, the Ikoniko Heart pendant is beautifully paired with a stunning, thin, Cuban link chain.

While I was in their beautiful boutique, in Vicenza, for a Cuban link chain, she informed me of the history and significance of the Ikoniko heart. The pendent was originally on a simple cable chain, presenting quite well. I was set on getting a cuban link and asked if I could see the pendent on the cuban link. She pleasantly agreed, and saw my vision as the pendent slid down the necklace.

Grazia kindly put it on me, as she did the other necklaces, and gasped as it settled on my collarbone. My friend’s eyes lit up as she stepped back. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror on the wall and was completely enamored with the look. I wear silver, with a an oxidized look, on my fingers, gold on my neck and both metals on my ears. This unique design, the champagne diamonds set in a the silver Ikoniko heart, pulling the delicate 18kt cuban link down, ties all of my metal choices together. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. As I was in the gold capital of Italy, I was honored to purchase such a beautiful, well-crafted, and unique piece of jewelry from a historical brand.
