I have never experienced such a big time disrespect from JR staff in Japan!! Absolutely shameful on the guy （ 主濱 on his name tag ） for being so rude and discriminatory against foreign travelers. Would you expect to be treated the same way when you visit other places? Not to mention when you where the JR uniform you represent the JR company, not your own as an individual, your behavior is shaming JR and Japan. Customers are customers, you should not treat your customers differently based on where they come from. Your arrogant attitude is just showing your unprofessionalism and disrespect to your job and the country, and meaning you are not doing your job.

Newly renovated station. Got lifts and elevators up and down the station and to the platforms. The lifts are more advance, new and fast unlike many so called advance Rich countries. It is Next to many attractions and eateries. Nice station and city. Good place to walk around.

In the station, there are interconnected shopping malls with many restaurants, a Daiso store, and clothing shops. You can explore inside to avoid the heavy snowfall outside. There is also a bus waiting area, which is very convenient for passengers heading to Tokyo or Sapporo.

Aomori JR station is located in the city center of Aomori where all things are around. It is integrated with a big shopping mall and bus terminal.

It is very close to market, shopping street and Aomori port. Many hotels are around the station.

Lockers are also available in and outside the station.

Usually pickup point is around the station as well.

Pleas note Shin-Aomori is another location where Shinkansen stops. Passengers may take Ou line or take a bus to go there.

Bus services to Aomori airport is also around the station.
