Extremely Disappointed – False Advertising and Poor Quality

I came to this restaurant with high expectations but left feeling utterly disappointed and deceived.

Firstly, I ordered the tuna sashimi, which was advertised with both medium-fatty and fatty cuts in the picture. However, what arrived was just dry, lean pieces that lacked freshness. It felt like a complete misrepresentation.

Secondly, the grilled chicken skewers were supposed to come in different flavors, but instead of seasoning the meat, they simply provided different dipping sauces. This was incredibly misleading and frustrating.

Lastly, the Japanese stir-fried noodles were an absolute disaster. The egg was completely burnt, making the dish inedible. I can’t believe a restaurant would serve something like this to customers.

This was my first time experiencing such low standards in Japan, and it left me extremely disappointed. I cannot recommend this...

Picked this small little shop near the taxi stand outside of the JR station for dinner.

We were given a table on the second level. The waiting staff realised that we were foreigners and immediately brought an English menu for us without us requesting for it. Very attentive and happy ladies running the service for the entire second level. Keep it up ladies!

Food was fabulous too. Ordered a serve of their sliced tomato and lightly pickled cucumber as starters. Both were very fresh and succulent!

Grilled chicken wings were very tasty and crispy! Yakitori set was done perfectly as always in japan. Their yakiniku yakimeshi comes with an onsen tamago hidden within the rice!

Top fish for us was the bowl of Asari clams steamed in sake. Clams were fat and juicy and the clear broth was energising amidst the late summer heat and humidity

The only reason it has 1 star is because the staff are attentive. Despite me not knowing any japanese, they were patient in exchanging google translate messages with me. I appreciate the earnesty in the service attitude. A izakaya does not pride itself on food quality necessarily but it should not serve bad food. My items are either cold or over or under cooked. To be fair, I did not bother to explain to the staff my unsatisfaction given the overall food experience is just bad and i had assumed they cannot do anything about it. I would not recommend this to anyone who are after at least basic quality as this is really way below average. I hope the owners relook into their food delivery to compliment the great...
