Kamakura Neco Salon — Local services in Kamakura

Love the entire concept of this store and a cat haven for cat lovers. I didn’t manage to visit this store when I was in Kamakura in Feb2024 as they close at 6pm and we only got back from our day trips later in the evening. Finally, I visited just last week!

I would say that half of the store sells cat merchandise like wallets, pouches, bags and some clothes/tees even. I was hoping for more trinkets and unique items but it was still ok for me. Happy to indulge some times to view every single cat item they have to offer. Crockery and stationery items are limited as it is a small shop!

Love their cat meowing “doorbell” but there’s a sign that says it’s not for sale. Awww. Would totally buy that.

Went back twice and the lady told me they open everyday from 10-6pm but close from 11am to 12pm for lunch (which isn’t stated in the google hours).

This is a must-visit for all cat lovers! A little shop but absolutely PACKED with cat goodies such as bags, towels, figurines, plushies, stationery, pottery, jewellery, keychains, and more! I spent a lot of money here and could easily spend even more 😸 proceed...

If love everything cat related then this is the place for you!! They have the cutest things like jewelry, shirts, coin purses, dishes and much more. The only thing that could make this place better is having actual cats chilling...
