Kusatsu Onsen — Local services in Kofu

Public bath located near Central Kofu. The facility is very old-fashioned and a little small, but it is clean and popular, and usually quite crowded. You can see from the number of cars always filling the multiple parking lots.

This public bath is well maintained with a very kind owner. There are two available hairdryers for a fee (10 yen for 2 minutes). There is no sauna, but the price at 450 yen is very cheap. There are several baths, a smaller outdoor bath and one that is extremely hot!

Almost all of the clients are older locals and highly familiar with one another. If you are a foreigner, you may feel a little out of place, more so than you might at a public bath frequented by younger people. I have been going here forcyears and its a wonderful onsen within the Kofu area. This is as authentic as you can get to an onsen. I highly recommend a stop and taking a wonderful hot bath to begin your day. It gets fairly crowded with elderly people, but its good if you hit it in the morning before work.

群馬県じゃないよ〜👋 激シブの激アツ🔥温泉銭湯 今度は山梨県の『草津温泉♨️』さんじゃ〜😆✊

2025年5月11日(日) まだまだ続く、onsenmeijnの温泉♨️行脚 きょーは山梨のほ〜の草津温泉に行くべさ〜 目的地はホテルをチェックアウトして、車で9分ほど さっき朝風呂をかましたっつぅのに、また温泉♨️ バカにも程があるわぁ(^^;) な〜んて言ってるうちに目的地に到着 ここも住宅街のど真ん中にある温泉銭湯 銭湯？と言っても侮るなかれ☝️ ここはもちろんナシ、ナシの純温泉A認定のれっきとした温泉 そんじゃそこらの施設の温泉より間違いなくい〜お湯なんじゃ❗ なんでも戦後、草津出身の方が「草津湯」とゆ〜銭湯を初めたというのが名前の由来らしー 当時は温泉ではなかったが、先代がオイルショックを期にいち大決心☝️ 約1年にも及ぶ厳しいボーリングの末、甲府の中心で初めて高温の温泉を得た そんな歴史をそのまま残したよーな外観はまさに銭湯そのもの 激シブ、エモいと一言で片付けられない貫禄があるね👏👏👏 館内では演歌界の大スター天童よしみさんの「美しい昔」の曲がかかる🤣(知らんがな〜、google検索より) うおぉぉ〜イメージ通りの銭湯じゃ〜🙌 番台のおばちゃんに470円を支払い「お湯いただきま〜す」と挨拶し、早速浴場へ 壊れかけたロッカーが古い歴史を物語っておるわ😆👍 浴場は銭湯スタイルそのまま🤭 なのに備えつけのジャンプーはあるわ、なんと❗露天風呂まであってこの入浴料なのは、沸かす燃料代が不要の掛け流し温泉♨️のなせる技(笑) 体感で浴槽の大きいほーのヤツはぬる湯で40℃、小さいほーは身体がビリビリくるんで45℃とみた 露天はちょい熱🔥の41℃ タイルの色なのか？お湯が薄いグリーン色に見える 匂いはむ、む…なんか鉱物臭がするで〜 いかにも効きそう とにかくめっちゃいいお湯で汗(^^;)💦がなかなか引かねぇー 1時間も入ってのぼせまくり、もうギブ 風呂から上がってしばらく動けんかったよ(笑) 風呂あがりには、銭湯おきまりの仕上げのこーしー牛乳🥛 さすがに腰に手をあてては飲まんかったが、椅子に座り番台のおばちゃんとおしゃべり😊 「どこから来たの？」 「温泉どうだった」 東京からこの温泉と先日訪れた「玉川温泉」に入りに来たと伝えると、ビックリ😱‼️したよーすだったよ😂 楽しいひととき これも銭湯の醍醐味だよねー💗
