AEON LakeTown — Local services in Koshigaya

This place is 3 different malls combined... It's huge, it took us like one day from 11am to 8pm to take a look around! And if you want something just buy it on the spot, because if you think will buy it later, it'll be a looking walk back from wherever you happen to be. The Outlet is outdoors. Hey, it's the biggest shopping center in all of Japan. For a U.S. tourist it feels very much like a mix of Pennsylvania's King of Prussia mall (being two separate malls joined together) and just the sheer largeness of the Mall of America in Minnesota, especially in the larger "Mori" building.

This is definitely off of the tourist track and when I decided to kill a rainy weekend day there, I could tell I may have been the only non-local. It was crowded but fun. Plenty of food options and relatively easy...

You can literally spend 1 day here. It has 3 parts - Kaze, Mori and Outlet mall. Lots of famous restaurants can be found here and the AEON shopping (not just grocery) is also quite crazily huge. Overall, I think all ages will have something to enjoy here. I went on a weekday during obon period and the crowd is manageable. So I suggest coming on a weekday to have a pleasant shopping/walking experience. It’s so conveniently connected to a station and accessible from Tokyo. Definitely...
