This is the first local restaurant we've been to here in Japan after a three-day hustle and bustle in Osaka. A very well-deserved trip to Kurashiki. Fortunately, my husband and I came across this nice restaurant. We made a good choice, and the udon noodles that I had were so tasty. I loved the crispiness of my tempura, and everything on my udon was just perfect. Also, their ginger ale and the Doppo beer were really good. The ginger ale has a strong taste, which I love. My husband was enjoying the meal. We were really happy customers. The family who owns this restaurant was so nice and hospitable. The son, who served us, was so polite and was always smiling, which gives you a good vibe. The family gives you good energy and puts a smile on your face.
Arigatou Gozaimasu!
We hope to come back again...
Read moreThe udon is more chewy than usual which I really like. Because its handmade you can see the inconsistency which I love! Since it has been super hot weather, I had the cold setouchi lemon which is what Onishi is proud of. on the side was pumpkin and prawn tempura. delicious! the prawn tempura was also real, and the meat is full with thin enough skin for crispiness.
The service was excellent too. He was patient with my order and gave suggestions. Receptive and great team work with the kitchen.
I would definitely come back to try...
