It's a better version of canal boat ride of Kyoto. 1st thing you want to do when arrive Kurashiki is buying the boat ticket at the Tourist center. We registered at 10 for the earliest ride at 12.30. It's 20 minute boat, 6 guests maximum. You can see the big fishes swimming around the canal. I can imagine how breathtaking it would be in cherry blossom season. They gave you the hats and took photo for you at the beginning. 5/5...

Fun way to see the town while giving your feet a rest. The staff was friendly, I just wish I understood what they were saying during the tour. I got the gist that they were explaining the history of each area we passed by. Given that it’s mostly tourists that go on the boat ride, perhaps just a little bit of English explanation or a printout, would make it...

10 plus minutes ride, with Japanese only language story telling from the old boatman. It was relax and the old buildings on both side of the canal made a good photograph...
