アニメイトカフェの店員さんへ そんなに不機嫌そうに接客されるのであれば、無理に働かなくてもいいと思います。誰もあなたに無理やり働かせているわけではありません。 私は最初から最後まで丁寧に話していましたし、外国人であって日本人ではありません。あなたの話すスピードや言葉遣いが少し難しかったので、理解するのに少し時間がかかってしまいました。 ただ丁寧に一つ質問をしただけです。あんなに不機嫌になる必要はないと思います。

To the staff at Animate Cafe: If you're going to act so impatient, then maybe you shouldn't be working here—no one is forcing you to. From start to finish, I was speaking very politely. I'm a foreigner, not Japanese, so your speaking speed and choice of words were a bit difficult to understand, which is why I took a little time to process what you said. I simply asked you a question politely. There was no need for such impatience.

9/6（土）に予約していたぬいぐるみを受け取りに伺いました。 しかし、商品には目立つ汚れが多く見られたため、可能であれば交換をお願いしたかったのですが、最初に対応された店員の態度が非常に悪く、不快な思いをしました。

私の日本語が不十分でうまく伝えられなかった点もあるかもしれませんが、解決方法を尋ねているにもかかわらず、「予約商品は数量限定です」と繰り返すだけで、詳しい説明もなく、最後には露骨に嫌そうな態度を取られました。まるでこちらが悪いことをしているかのように扱われ、とても残念でした。

その後、別の店員の方が丁寧に説明してくださり、ようやく状況を理解できました。最終的には汚れを自分で処理することにしましたが、最初の対応のあまりの酷さには本当にがっかりしました。

I visited the store on 9/6 (Sat) to pick up a reserved plush toy. However, the item had quite a few noticeable stains. I was hoping to exchange it for a cleaner one if possible, but the attitude of the first staff member who assisted me was extremely unpleasant and made me feel very uncomfortable.

My Japanese may not be perfect, but I was simply asking how the issue could be resolved. Instead of giving me any proper explanation, the staff member just kept repeating “reserved items are limited in quantity,” without providing any real solution. In the end, their attitude turned blatantly rude, as if I had done something wrong, which was very disappointing.

Fortunately, another staff member later gave me a proper and polite explanation, and I was finally able to understand the situation. I decided to take the item home and clean it myself, but I was truly let down by the poor attitude of the first staff...

Split into 2 different sections: 1. general merchandise (including manga books and keychains); 2. DVDs and Albums (music, music anime, music games etc.) Section 1 has most of the trending anime and games, consisting of Haikyuu!, Oshi No Ko, Bocchi the Rock, JJK, Demon Slayer (shows), Honkai, Genshin, Arknights (games) and many more. There are manga, magazines, and some sanrio collaborations too. However, if you like older anime that isn’t as popular, then you may be disappointed as this store is not that huge. Fun little shop location with a solid selection of manga and light novels. Really enjoyed browsing the character goods from a number of classic ( Sailor Moon, Bleach, Naruto, Lycoris Recoil) as well as new currently running anime. The variety of manga was diverse and I found a really nice selection to buy. Including a novelization of the new G-Witch Gundam anime! In the separate anime/music section next door was a bit limited, but had a solid selection of music CDs for popular anime, both those translated & exported and those still only available in Japan.
