The male cashier on duty during the night shift on Level 5 on 23 July 2025 was both rude and unhelpful. We were queuing for a cashier, since none appeared to be available at the time. A male staff came from somewhere with unfriendly attitude, told us to “move inside.” Although confused, we complied—only for him to realise that no cashier was actually available. He then reluctantly processed our transaction himself.

We had carefully calculated our amount to qualify for the 5% discount, but he claimed the amount wasn’t sufficient. After double confirming the amount, he still insisted it wasn’t enough. Sure, we went to pick up additional items. Upon returning, he then told us the original amount was enough haha

This inconsistency and poor attitude made the experience frustrating. I would strongly recommend avoiding Level 5 cashiers if you're looking for a smooth and pleasant...

The stuffs and the store is okay. I always buy things at Dondonki. So far my japan trip was good with nice people and nice service. EXCEPT this Dondonki Cashier and Manager. I bought 250$ at the store but they refused to exchange some products for me cause I bought wrongly. The cashier woman and men are all rude, they just said "NO" without any explaination. Their website claim that YES you can return or refund if the Items are not opened. The male one on the 5th floor even show bad attitude. Be careful if you intended to shop here. I recommend chose other branches. Oh one more thing, the male cashier refuse to let me pay with the card that not same name with my Passport which doesnt...

Don quijote is definitely one of my favourite shop while visiting Japan. First of all i knew that it will be better tha jonetz by don donki in Malaysia. But i didnt expect it to so much better than don donki in Malaysia. The shop is huge. So many things that is cheaper than in Malaysia. They sell a variety of items. My favourite part is their watch and prelove section where they offer crazy price. It might be pricier than other pre love shop. But i can say the prelove quality here is pretty nice.
