In the heart of a newly renovated Tennoji park, and surrounded by new shops and restaurants, it's a great little place to base yourself in Osaka!||||This is the second time I've stayed here, and although some of their English is limited, you won't have a problem checking in. We booked a twin room, which was actually just one of their 4 bed bunk rooms (which was great because we could the extra space to put our luggage!). You get a nice little view from your room, with a balcony on most of the rooms. It's just a short walk to Shinsekai, a few great temples, and Tennoji station, which connects with all major lines in Osaka. ||||The staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable, but you you'll need to bring your own towel or pay for one (which was a little annoying for a foreigner. Read moreIn the middle of everything - JR and subway stations, convenience stores and restaurants, tourist attractions and others. Cozy rooms good for four, had privacy curtains and individual A/C ports, safe and lights. Though room is a bit cramped especially when all occupants have luggages. Common toilet, wash area and bathrooms are clean but quantity maybe not enough. Does not offer complimentary towels nor any toiletries (eg. toothbrush) though containers of bath gels, shampoos and conditioners are provided. Just like any hostel, common kitchen with basic wares, stove, microwave oven and refrigerator are available. Instant coffee is available at anytime. Breakfast is okay (bread and juice) but can be improved.||||Staff are friendly and helpful but strict (would not look for alternatives for customers).||||Would recommend to others and consider again in my next...
Read moreClean and good location, very near to Tennonji station. It’s more quiet than Osaka downtown and convenient if you are travelling down to Wakayama or airport. The people are very friendly. Free breakfast is two buns and one packet of juice. Oh and they give out free Haruka 300 ticket, super great value. Shower room is attached to the room.
Note that we need to put our own linen on our bed and remove when we check out. There are only 3 wash basin on my floor, and there are in front of men’s toilet. Brushing my teeth while a lot of guys went in and out to get their business done, not very hygienic. In the morning, the 3 basin become very competitive. The walkway between the beds are a bit narrow, since there’s no special luggage space, it might not be suitable for travellers of many...
