I recently visited Abeno Harukas and it was an incredible experience. As one of the tallest buildings in Japan, the views from the observation deck were simply breathtaking. From the moment I stepped into the building, I was impressed by the modern and sleek design.
The observation deck provided panoramic views of the city skyline, allowing me to take in the awe-inspiring beauty of Osaka. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered unobstructed views, and I was able to spot famous landmarks and even catch a glimpse of Mount Rokko in the distance.
Aside from the stunning views, Abeno Harukas is home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. I had the opportunity to explore the shopping area, which was filled with a wide range of stores offering everything from high-end brands to local souvenirs. It was a shopper's paradise.
When it was time for a meal, I decided to try one of the restaurants in the building. The dining options were diverse, with a range of cuisines to choose from. I opted for a traditional Japanese restaurant and was delighted by the delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The attentive service added to the overall dining experience.
In addition to shopping and dining, Abeno Harukas also houses a museum and an art gallery. I took the time to explore the exhibits and was impressed by the collection of artwork and cultural artifacts on display.
Overall, my visit to Abeno Harukas was truly memorable. The combination of stunning views, excellent shopping and dining options, and cultural attractions made it a must-visit destination in Osaka. Whether you're a local resident or a tourist, I highly recommend a visit to Abeno Harukas for a unique and...
Read moreI had a hard time finding this Observatory as I just could not find the correct lift, and I wasted some time that could have been better spent admiring the scenery.
When I looked down from the highest point, everything looked like a toy replica in a town model. I enjoyed looking at the wide blue sky and puffy white clouds and would love to stay here longer. if not for time constraints. I am sure the night view must be just as umpressive.
Due to the full height window all around, it felt warm even though it was autumn/winter. The observation lounge on the same floor as the restaurant below was much better as it was cooler due to it being open air. I should have spent more time here instead of upstairs.
Oh yes, even if you don't need to use its toilet, please go ahead and use it anyway as the view is impressive. After all, it's not every day that you get a toilet with a skyscraper view. Oh, the toilet is warm due to the full height window.
There is a cafe that sells ice cream but I had no time to sit down and relax as my child spent way too much time upstairs.
There is also a souvenir shop on the same floor and I do not find its goods awfully expensive like Ghibli Park. Its mascot is a friendly sky blue bear that looks somewhat...

It's easily accessible by Subway at the Tennoji stop. You're greeted by a huge shopping area immediately. Once you find the elevator (south side, outside iirc) that takes you to the observation deck, you ride that up to the ticket gate which also has a nice outdoor garden and viewing area (15F iirc). Then you head up the elevator which has its own lighting effects...
At the very top you get beautiful views of Osaka and the surrounding area. There's some touristy things where you can get special pictures taken outside at the edge, but the conditions have to be just right. The day I was there was too windy and it was closed. There's tons of areas set up for pictures and staff will help you if you wish to have some taken.
Ride the escalator down and there's a cute cafe and a beautiful seating area. While you're there, make sure to check out the bathrooms that are really cool.....
If you want to come back at night, there's a second but cheaper ticket to buy for re-entry. We did it. Beautiful at...
