Aoi Napoli in the Park — Restaurant in Osaka

Didnt actually get to eat here, giving it a one star rating to let people know about the bad service.

We waited at the front entrance to get someone's attention. Nobody came so we seated ourselves under an empty umbrella at the front and thought we'd order when someone came over. A lady came over to clear a nearby umbrella and told us we couldnt sit there (we dont speak Japanese but that was the message). We told her we wanted to order beer and she gestured for us to go wait back at the front where we were originally standing and did not get any service. We went back to stand there and the lady went back inside to do other stuff. Stood there for some time again and nobody came...

Very nice pizza cooked to perfection, the fries were also great. We were on the rooftop terrace and they had large electric heaters there to keep us warm. Inside is very nice and warm but if you are on the rooftop then I would suggest you bring some warm clothes depending on the time of year. The service was unfortunately very poor. It was very busy when we went, but these kinds of pizzas should take less than 10 minutes to make, we were waiting upwards of 40 minutes and the waiter came back to us multiple times saying that it would only be a little while longer. We had somewhere to be so we had to scoff our food down and leave in a hurry free it...

Great location with outdoor seating which has BBQ facilities. To be honest it's just the place if you're looking to have a few beers with friends (which we, with our 6 month old weren't!) We were sat indoors just by the bar, and the first thing we noticed was the noise - whether a drink had just been served, or food was being taken to a table, staff shouted the action out - it was difficult to relax and enjoy our lunch. The food was OK. They had some fun things on the menu which we wanted to try (Mash potato & mince pizza - why not?) nothing special, but for the price...
