Sengen Shrine — Local services in Oshino

If you like to collect Goshuin stamps I want to warn you so you don't get scammed like us. The person who does the stamp is barely speaks English, it is impossible to understand what he is talking about, he said something like 3. Then I thought it is 300 yen, which is the general price. Then he started to handwrite the signature with barely black ink, not the ones they usually use, more like a pen. He covered my 3 pages! Not a careful respectful handwriting, barely visible ink and 3 page of this. I was like okay I guess it is the thing here, and he told me 1000 yen? Nowhere is writing outside how much is the stamp and I am fully sure this price is for tourists. Not that I just got scammed 1000 yen for this but also a very careless job. To me this much special work shouldn't be rushed and this careless. I could collect 2-3 different nicer ones in different spots honestly. I should have checked other reviews, afterwards I saw people had the same issue. Just...

This is the reason to come to Oshino. 💯✨ The Oshino Hakkai Sengen Shrine is not just a shrine — it’s the soul of the village. 🏯 Surrounded by sacred forests, clear waters, and the mighty presence of Mount Fuji 🗻, it feels like stepping into a living piece of Japan’s history.

Founded in 807 AD, this shrine has stood watch for over 1,200 years. The honden (main hall) is built in classic nagare-zukuri style, the guardian statues at the gate stand powerfully, and inside are three wooden deity statues carved in 1315 — cultural treasures of Japan. 🙏✨ The air feels sacred, and when you walk under the giant zelkova tree 🌳 (37 meters tall, 10 meters thick!) you feel humbled by time itself.

The yew forest is a natural monument, and in autumn 🍁 the red berries glow like jewels. In spring 🌸 the grounds are framed with blossoms, in summer 🌿 alive with green, in autumn vibrant with color, and in winter ❄️ it feels like a mystical snow kingdom. Every season here is magic.

ここが忍野に来る本当の理由です。💯✨ 忍野八海浅間神社 は単なる神社ではなく、村の魂そのものです。🏯 富士山🗻を背景に、清らかな湧水、古代の森、荘厳な空気に包まれ、まるで日本の歴史の中に一歩足を踏み入れたような感覚になります。

創建は大同2年（807年）。1200年以上もこの地を守り続けています。本殿は流造、仁王像は力強く、内部には正和4年（1315年）に彫られた木造三体の神像が安置され、文化財に指定されています。🙏✨

境内には高さ37m、幹回り10mの巨大なケヤキ🌳がそびえ立ち、圧倒的な存在感。周囲のイチイの森は天然記念物で、秋になると赤い実が宝石のように輝きます。春🌸は桜、夏🌿は新緑、秋🍁は紅葉、冬❄️は雪景色と、四季折々の美しさが味わえます。

忍野八海浅間神社で【13枚】御朱印いただきました💕m(ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)m本殿+境内諏訪神社+稲荷社・忍野第壹霊場出口池+(周辺無人の所10社)=計13枚になります。 ⑪と⑤…Google Map地上から検索しても出て来なかったのですが、 ⑪は忍野八海浅間神社境内の諏訪神社だと御朱印見てわかりましたm(ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)m ⑤住所鹿留(山付近？)のどこかに浅間神社がある様です。 ……………………………………………………………… ①富士浅間神社(あさま)吉田市=甲斐国(かいのくに)※ 甲斐国はかつて、日本の地方行政区分だった令制国の一つで東海道に属する 。

②明見根元神社(あすみねのがみ)吉田市小明見=甲斐国

③忠魂・招魂社(忍野招魂社)=甲斐国 ※招魂社=幕末…明治維新の激動期に亡くなられた多数の犠牲者を慰霊する意味で明治新政府が設立した神社。(各地有)

………………………………………………………………………… 夏☁日曜・午後過ぎに参拝しまして🙏✨社務所へ並び…(三番目)この日は台風が来てて天候が☁余りよくなかったせいだからか…空いてましたm(ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)m 御朱印頂いてる方の様子を見ておりますと、1枚頂いてる方や…大体の方は 忍野八海浅間神社の3セット頂いておりました(忍野八海浅間神社+境内諏訪神社+稲荷社忍野第壹番霊場出口池)

宮司様は、普段1人で御朱印を書いているとの事でしてm(ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)mこの日は午前中…法事で居なかったとお話下さいまして、 「普段17時迄。居ない時もありまして…先日来た♂方は、偶々私が居ない日に何度か来られて、5回目に御朱印頂いた方もおりますので、貴方はラッキーですね✨」とおっしゃっていただけて、そうなんだぁなぁ✨ラッキーなんだぁ✨と思いました☺ それから、13枚ですと(普通ならお時間15分程かかるかもなのですが)13枚欲しいとゆう方もいらっしゃるので、筆ぺんで書いてるとお話下さいましたm(ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)m

それから、(本当は表面終わったら、次の御朱印帳所持していたので、次の新しい御朱印帳に書いていただきたかったのですが)宮司様が、 「表だけで終わらせたら駄目です。御朱印帳は蛇の例え・人生は一生✨で、表だけで終わらせる方偶におりますが、それは※人生を半分で終わらせる事になります。半生で終わらせるって意味になるので、続けて裏に書きます。」と言われまして、すかさず「以前裏に滲んでしまった事がありまして…そこのページは御朱印を貼ったのですが…」とお話しましたら、宮司様が 「私は筆ぺんで書くので、滲みませんし大丈夫です。」と言われたので… 2度自分の意見お話しましたけど、そこまで言われたら…神様に仕える神主様なのですから(口答えみたいになるのは嫌なので)裏にも書いて頂きましたm(ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)m

ただ、心配なのが・前…表書いて頂いた時に滲んで裏移りした所は、御朱印を貼ってごまかしたのですが もし、あと今裏側残り半分…何処かの神社で書いて頂いた時に、表に滲んでしまったら(_
