A hidden gem in Oshino-Hakkai. This place is somewhat outside of the touristic centre, but visiting is totally worth it. Looking for cheap, yet authentic and delicious local specialties? Then this is the place to be. Forget the touristic centre with overpriced food, this place is a gazillion times better than any of the stores...

Irori has pretty good food, salads, yakitori, and is super reasonable in pricing. Has a private tatami room which we use when little children are with us. Definitely try the houtou (local noodle dish) and the ojiya (rice and egg soup) both served in...
