A truly beautiful and incredibly peaceful spot, Kōenji Temple is one of those places that instantly slows you down. Tucked away from the noise, it offers a deep sense of calm, where every step feels meditative.

At first I thought I couldn't enter but after reading other reviews I searched around and found a side entrance that was open and peeked in and saw another Japanese visitor so I went inside. When I was coming back there were 5 other visitors so I think it's okay to come inside...

At first I thought I couldn't enter but after reading other reviews I searched around and found a side entrance that was open and peeked in and saw another Japanese visitor so I went inside. When I was coming back there were 5 other visitors so I think it's okay to come inside the premises.
