We were fortunate to witness such a stunning view from the top on a foggy morning, making it a highlight of our trip. I guess whether it’s worth going up really depends on the weather, but it’s still a decent spot to visit. We spent only about 10 minutes at the top, as there wasn’t much to see further down the road. I’d recommend taking the ropeway up to the top, then descending halfway to the temple before continuing down via the stair trail, which is only about...

I bought jr west Kansai wide area pass from klook which included kinosaki must visit 3 day pass. This includes round trip on the ropeway. This is a great ropeway which goes up to the top of the mountain, and you should really check it out if you go to Kinosaki. Go there after a bath at an onsen in town. There is a cafe at the top and a lookout and I think a few...
