I wish I had pictures and video to share about this particular staff. Her name is Awin or Aween not really sure how to spell it. She was assigned to this particular section - travel luggages. My mom and I had no intention to purchase anything from there. I was literally there to accompany my mom for a window shopping. Then, this friendly staff greeted us and she asked us to browse other brands with promotion price as well.
The brand - Hummer caught my mom’s attention. She bought one standard and another bigger size too. With a great assistance from Awin/Aween, mom got a Hummer pouch bag as a free gift. A great service from her, she offered us to polish the exterior body of the suitcase and the wheels. She also gave us another two sets of the wheel protectors as free gift too. She helped us to put on each set of the wheel protectors for two suitcases. Not only that, during payment she literally paid RM 0.40 for us as her promise to give another 40 cents discount.
This is our first experience and the best service we ever had even we have been to other luggage shops/outlets in Parkson before this. This is by far the best staff we ever dealt with. We were truly impressed and amazed with her skills in negotation and customer relation. We were truly touched by her own initiatives by providing such service which really exceeded our expectration.
This was last week on the 28th of July. I hope that there will be more customers purchase luggages from her. The supervisor or manager should take note of this feedback. I hope she will get promoted one day. Keep it up! Please maintain this attitude and service.
Shoutout to Awin/Aween, you deserve a raise! You really made my mom’s day! Thanks again for the...
Read moreI purchased several packs of underwear at Parkson yesterday—8 packs in total, spending nearly RM450. After opening one pack and trying it on at home, I realized I had bought the wrong size. I went back to the store today hoping to exchange for a larger size, only to be told that exchanges are not allowed.
I fully understand that underwear is a sensitive item and that certain return policies may apply. However, these items are all brand new and unused, and considering the quantity and total amount spent, I believe my request to exchange the size is completely reasonable from a customer’s perspective.
What’s more frustrating is that the cashier didn’t inform me at the time of purchase that this item is non-exchangeable. Only today was I told that it was noted on the receipt. Honestly, who would check the fine print on a receipt for such important information?
What disappointed me most was the lack of willingness from Parkson to even try to resolve the issue. There was no intention to help, no flexibility—just a flat rejection. For a well-known department store, this kind of rigid customer service is quite disheartening.
I hope Parkson will review how such matters are handled and improve communication with customers at the point of sale. Otherwise, you risk losing the trust and loyalty of...
Read moreWent to Parkson and entered via menswear section (level 2) on 28/09/2024 somewhere around 7.30pm - 8.30pm.
There was a pengkid wearing glasses and a few other girls just sitting there at the entrance of menswear section. Upon seeing me entering the place, the pengkid greeted me with "kak nampak penat je kak. Jangan la camtu kang berjangkit kat kitorang ni" and was followed by their laughs. I don't know if s/he was trying to be funny but it's definitely not funny and I don't understand how a customer who just needed to walk pass that area, can tire her/him, given that s/he was just sitting there doing nothing other than chit chatting with her friends.
I was indeed very tired at that time after running errands since morning until night so I was dumbfounded and confused by her/his remarks and did not have the capacity to deal with her/his bullshit at that time so I just walked away. Thinking back, I still can't find any good reason for a sales assistant to greet a random customer with such an unnecessary remark.
This Parkson outlet is in a very grand new mall. It is beyond me why Parkson, a very reputable department store, can hire a sales assistant with a sewer...
