The main wet market in OUG that is predominantly Chinese. The market is centered around The Market Place OUG, with temporary stalls surrounding it on Jalan Hujan Emas 4, Medan Hujan Rahmat, Jalan Hujan Rahmat, and Jalan Hujan Rahmat 2. The shops surrounding it are also a major part of the market (kopitiams, pharmacies, sundry shops, Chinese medicine halls). All sorts are available : vegetables, fruits, dry foodstuff, dry seafood, herbs, poultry, pork, food, snacks, household items, plants, clothes, prayer items, etc. Parking is limited, and haphazard parking turn some roads into one way streets (Jalan Hujan Rahmat). CNY 2020 edition This is a full fledged wet market...the central is the OUG Market Place building (with two floors of underground parking). By the roadside, many smaller traders sell their goods till about noon time. Apart from the usual meat and vegetables, you'll find a whole lot of other stuffs being offered here. Some traders are only here, once or twice a week, therefore each market visit could be a new experience.
