I dont normally rate places but i have to say that the service is really bad, till the point that i had to write a review about it.
My mom and I were dining in, we ordered salmon carbonara, loh mee, and fried tofu. I got the food first, halfway eating, we noticed that the other customers who came in later than us already got their food. Yet, neither the loh mee and fried tofu arrives our table. We asked the waiters couple of times, a few of them seemed like they didnt care about it and carried on with their work. Out of all of the waiters, only the last waiter came back and mentioned that it’ll take another 3 mins. And so, we waited. I had finished my dish, sat for a while, then the loh mee came, mind you that the other customers who arrived later than us already finished their meals. My mom was fed up with waiting and just wanted to leave, then 2 waiters came in to apologise. We rejected the dish and straight went to the cashier for payment. The employee standing there seemed to be a manager, all the while setting up and handing us the receipt, he did not bother to apologise or even look at us in the eye, as if it was our fault for rejecting the dish.
Given that the other bad reviews here, i would think the owner will not reflect on these actions, but im writing here just in case anyone who’s looking for a good place to dine in.
For the owner, if you are reading, please educate your waiters as well as the guy at the cashier. I do understand that it may be hectic during meal hours, but it is also important to have...
Read moreI will zero star if I can. I cam at 5pm I ordered butter rice with ayam penyet. One server came to confirm that I requested for drumstick/ thigh. After waiting for more than 25mins, when my other family members food that needs to be stir fried and chicken chop needs to be deep fried is already SERVED, then only another server came to tell me that the ayam penyet is not available. Excuse me, what restaurant is this? Bad service and no ayam penyet that you advertised in menu at 5pm when dinner service just commenced. So what, now I have to wait another 25mins for you to cook another dish, when I am hungry!
I asked to see their owner, no one wants to own up. All run by their foreigners.
Bad bad service. No apology, no offer of any discount. Irresponsible and missing person in charge/ manager of this restaurant.
This is not the first time their staff keep making mistakes on my orders..... Multiple times and never once, I get discount or free for the wrong order they bring over, everytime also we just accept and said nevermind. But tolerance has a limit.
As a regular here, I am disappointed with their lackadaisical attitude and their staff keeps arguing that it was kitchen fault. I am a customer, I do not need this kinda of irresponsible blaming game and your internal issues is not my...

I had a sudden craving today and decided to visit my favorite spot, Pestle & Mortar in Setia Alam. As always, I ordered my favorite Teh Tarik Ais.
However, just as I was finishing my drink, I felt something strange in my mouth. It didn’t feel like ice, so I spit it out—only to discover it was a dead fly. Completely disgusted, I immediately complained to the staff. Instead of taking responsibility, they brushed it off, saying that it’s “normal” for a few flies to be around and that it must have accidentally fallen in. But the fly was already dead and sunken at the bottom of the drink, meaning it had been there for a while. Worse still, I could still feel bits of it in my mouth—just thinking about it makes me sick.
To make matters worse, they didn’t even apologize. All they did was replace my drink, as if that was enough.
This used to be my favorite place, and I would go there specifically for their Teh Tarik Ais. But after this incident, I will never be coming back. Luckily, I didn’t feel unwell after drinking it, but this was beyond...
