Seri Melur Jaya Restaurant — Restaurant in Shah Alam

I have been to other branches and it is not too bad.

But the Setia Alam branch is horrible. All the workers are clustered in conversation with each other and not paying any attention to customers.

I went to one of the waiters to place my order and he just walked away. Later he attended to other customers who came later than me. When I found the manager and told him about it, he seemed disinterested and answered we are short of staff. It was 3pm, non-peak and there were not many customers around.

He didn't even bother to question his workers who were just standing around doing nothing. The manager looked like he was being managed by his workers.

Really pathetic management of the Setia Alam branch. No wonder the workers don't seem to care. They probably get paid by the owners regardless of how the treat the customers.

This place no longer has the vibe from 5 years ago... It's cleaniness is down the drains... floor is Stickier than sticky pad... infact the wash hand area is dirty and u really need to use sanitizer after using it... no waiter to even clean or serve people's table..When confronted the waiters....He said there isn't enough people to clean the shop, his boss is plucking maire it seems, this are his words... Dear boss of Sri melur... If you continue this so called culture in your shop... I guess you need to buy a tikar, so you can gulung it.. The best place in Setia Alam for roti canai, tosai, chapati and Maggi goreng. Ordering system has improved as they have gone digital/online and takeaways are even faster with ordering from cashier. Best kept secret is their nasi dhal which is spicier and more flavorful than the normal yellow dhal and nicer to eat with roti canai in my family's opinion. Best staff award should go to the friendly guy in charge of the takeaway and curry counter.
