I see your reply and of course I know chocolate pricing and know prices have gone up. I order chocolate all the time for various purposes (for filled bonbons, for baking and at different percentages). I also order cacao beans to make bean to bar chocolate. After I saw your prices I ordered Callebaut for about $6 per pound. And that was not in bulk. I still feel your pricing is totally out of line. Especially for what amounts to chocolate chips. Good for you getting tourists in who are willing to pay those prices. I stand by my review.
I have shopped here previously. I went today to buy some chocolate discs (think chocolate chips) and also grabbed a small bag of chocolate covered almonds. When I went to check out I was told the bill was $80! I said that can’t be right. Each bag of chocolate discs were 1 pound each and the almonds were in a small bag by the register. I said that has to be a mistake so another person can over and confirmed the amount. We are not talking about some rare single origin chocolate or fancy bonbons. These are chocolate chips. We bought a lot of the cocoa powder and almond covered chocolates. The one that stole the show for us was the chocolate infused with coffee which we went and purchased more of!
I also appreciated the paintings on the wall and overall ambience of the place. The nice thing about this entire area is that the vendors aren't pushy with the sales and have a very relaxed vibe. This was a good end to our trip. Not far from the airport if you have 2 hours to kill. This could easily be a nice stop on the way back.
The prices are pretty fair for the quality. It's definitely different from other...

Last night, my wife, niece, and I visited The Chocolate Factory in San José del Cabo, and it was such a fun and memorable experience! We took part in a tour and chocolate-making class, complete with delicious tastings along the way.
Our guide, Isaac, was knowledgeable and engaging — he shared fascinating insights about the history and origins of chocolate that made us appreciate it even more. We were also warmly greeted and assisted by Alex and the rest of the friendly team, who made the afternoon even more enjoyable.
It was the perfect blend of fun, learning, and indulgence — and the chocolates themselves are absolutely delicious. We highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting San...
