I have NEVER given a 5 star review for a restaurant. There has always been something that could be improved on - the quality of the food, the atmosphere, the service, the pricing. I can honestly say there is not one thing that could have been improved during our visit. I made reservations 90 minutes in advance and let them know we were celebrating my daughters H.S. graduation. When we arrived, we were greeted promptly at the host stand and sat immediately at a table that had a congratulatory balloon and graduate hats at each plate. I knew immediately that this was going to be a great dinner. My wife and I ordered iced tea and we were brought individually fresh brewed carafes of iced tea. We ordered the Fettunta, the bread was amazing! My daughter and I had the Maltagliati al Gamberetti and my wife had the Pasta Fiorenza. You could tell the pasta was fresh made and the sauces were made to order and incredibly fresh. They brought a special desert out for my daughter and applauded her graduating. They had live music and he was fantastic. I used Google translate to let the waiter know I wanted to compliment the Chef, he went and told Chef and he came out and met the family and thanked us for coming in. I cannot say enough good things about the people who took care of us, the quality of the food, the ambiance, the entertainment - the entire evening was absolutely perfect. Add Fiorenza to your restaurant list. I can't wait to come back to Cabo, just to go to Fiorenza. Thank you all for making our dinner so...
Read moreWe just had a fabulous valentine meal at a restaurant we felt was our favourite Italian spot in San Jose del Cabo. We were seated and treated extremely special, constant attention, food and drinks were excellent. UNTIL, after dinner we were enjoying the music and ambience of this restaurant. I leaned on the corner of the table and the table was not flat to the floor and everything fell over, my husbands sangria glass broke and with 2/3rds still in the glass ended up all over him, plus the water glasses. The staff was extremely quick to clean up the table and floor. And then everyone disappeared and not one person approached us again. Not to see if we needed more napkins for his soaking wet shirt and pants, or to offer a replacement drink, or even to offer water. Nothing!! My drink survived the calamity. The host and hostess had a full view and said nothing! I have never been so disgusted by this treatment in a restaurant we always spoke so highly of. We had to flag down a person to get the bill. We became invisible to all staff. I am very sorry to say We will never return! And never recommend...
Read moreThe staff were beyond disrespectful here. It was Father’s Day when we went, so they were busy, but none the less, they were able to seat us without a reservation. Once at the table, they gave us menus and then 5 minutes passed, 10, 15, and finally were silently given forks. Woo!
Another 5 minutes passed, and a waiter came, and silently took our menus and gave them to another table. We tried flagging down the staff to make an order, but after seeing them taking orders for tables that arrived after us, we just left. Not a single staff member said a word the entire time. We spoke to them on the way out and explained the experience and the hostess offered a very half hearted apology. I’m not sure if that’s we weren’t super dressed up or not, but it was a pretty awful experience.
If you’re thinking about going here, I recommend crossing the street and going to Napoli, where the food is amazing for the half the cost, and the owner is incredibly kind and very passionate about the...
