What a disappointment! Went there on a Friday night for the drag show. Apparently the person who entered before me got the last seat in the main room, as I was offered a table in an empty back room with no view of the show. Instead, I opted for one of the four bar stools with an extremely limited view. The service was incredibly slow. (It seems that the bartender working right in front of you can’t get you a drink. You have to wait for a waiter to notice that you’re there and have them order it for you.) I ordered the Perdida cocktail which was essentially a mango smoothie served in a half full wine glass. Not my idea of a cocktail. There wasn’t even a hint of alcohol. I also ordered the calamari frito. It was literally like eating deep fried rubber bands. Worst I’ve had in my life. As for the drag show, though I arrived late, I stayed for 90 minutes during which I saw 10 minutes of performance. The DQ’s did WAY more talking than singing so I eventually left out of sheer boredom -...
Read moreMy wife and I were very excited to go to this restaurant in our time in Guadalajara we arrived early and there were only a few tables the restaurant is definitely beautiful and the service was adequate with the young waiter the problem came with the ridiculous portions that were given it was smaller than what you would give a child. My wife ordered the asparagus on eggs when eggs scrambled with three strings of asparagus placed on top of it and a dry bun on the side. MyPlate was the breakfast tacos once again one egg and chorizo for three tacos. I would put more inside one taco at home. We both left hungry. Her dish was approximately 120 pesos mine was approximately 100 you would expect to get some type of a decent breakfast for that amount of money. If these reviews do get to the owners hopefully they will pay attention to the size of the portions as we will not be coming back to this restaurant or not recommending...
Read moreThis is my go to spot for an energetic, yet calm vibe (if that makes sense). Everyone here is enjoying their time; the food, the music, the design, and the service are all wonderful. You can comfortably have a conversation here without yelling (which I truly enjoy). Every time I come here, I order the Chilaquiles de Camarón. The tortillas are crisp, the salsa is seasoned to perfection, and the shrimp is never overcooked. The plating is also so wonderful. It is this eclectic style going for it. Make sure to set some time aside to find parking before you make it because it can be a bit difficult during peak hours, but you will enjoy the walk looking at the beautiful...
