Be careful to buy sea food there , you will lost money and get sell fish , yes , some fish is not fresh. Two of the salesmen weighed the fish without giving me a receipt, and the price was not shown on the scale, yes, I had to pay what they said, the salesman told me that the white fish in the picture was €7.5 /kg, I asked for four pieces, he told me €22 ,then I paid in cash, I didn't get a receipt, I went home and weighed the fish, it was only 1.5 kg, the actual price was €11.25, so the salesman cheated me out of €10 , and the fish was very smelly, not fresh, obviously fish that had not been sold for a few days. There was also an older salesman at the first stall who cheated me out of money, I bought a few squids, the unit price was €9.5/ kg ,he charged me €18 , I went home and weighed the squids, a total of 1.3 kg, the actual price was €12.35, he didn't give me a receipt, just told me that the squids were €18 , I had to pay what he said, so he cheated me out of €5.65 . These people do business through fraud.

As a tourist I was quite overwhelmed by this place. There were a lot of people, many of the vendors were shouting to attract customers and the fish and meat isle was extremely smelly and there were flies all over the fish/meat. Most of the people there were also Muslims and many of the stalls (for example the clothing ones) were aimed at them too. So as a white woman, I felt quite uncomfortable there in a summer dress.

Verschrikkelijk druk . schreeuwende mensen. Moeilijk te been mensen die je voor je voeten rijden met hun scootmobiel. Theekransjes midden van de padden . Veel rokers . De kraampjes zijn daarintegen wel leuk !! Leuke kleding en hier en daar aanbiedingen Ik vermijd altijd de fruitafdeling door drukte Even rustig eten zit er niet is maar het eten is wel oke daar wel zullen de meeuwen om je heen aanwezig zijn Parkeren kan hier beneden in de parkeer plaats waar alles wel krapjes is en geen lift De trap en hallen stinken naar urine Er is 1 zaakje met broeken waar ik regelmatig broeken haal voor leuke prijsjes En sokken en ondergoed is hier goed te vinden veel verkopers zelf zijn heel aardig Zei verdienen in mijn opinie 5 sterren maar de markt zelf mag wel wat aan gedaan worden.

As a tourist I was quite overwhelmed by this place. There were a lot of people, many of the vendors were shouting to attract customers and the fish and meat isle was extremely smelly and there were flies all over the fish/meat. Most of the people there were also Muslims and many of the stalls (for example the clothing ones) were aimed at them too. So as a white woman, I felt quite uncomfortable there in a summer dress.

Verschrikkelijk druk . schreeuwende mensen. Moeilijk te been mensen die je voor je voeten rijden met hun scootmobiel. Theekransjes midden van de padden . Veel rokers . De kraampjes zijn daarintegen wel leuk !! Voor onze Oma kwamen we in het verleden bij deze markt minimaal 1 dag in de week om groente & fruit te kopen i.v.m. de zorg en verantwoordelijkheid die wij hadden genomen ten aanzien van haar.

Over het algemeen aangenomen een leuke, gezellige markt. Altijd druk, dus enige aanpassingsvermogen is wel vereist.

Op de markt tref je zo af en toe ook gebruikte artikelen aan die goed genoeg zijn voor een tweede ronde.

De sfeer is gemoedelijk. Iedereen doet zijn/haar best om de klanten tegemoet te komen in hun verwachtingen.

De Haagse Markt heeft ook een complete metamorfose ondergaan. Sindsdien zijn we niet meer geweest, want door de jaren heen neemt de belangstelling af.

I.v.m. werk kwam ik nog wel even langs voor een patatje, want in die omgeving was ik werkzaam voor de gemeente.

Natuurlijk hoop ik dat de Haagse Markt nog vele jaren door mag gaan in de...
