Not good service bad attitude like she didn't want know like i was suppose to know more, I asked was there going to be fresh chicken coming lady got agitated answered with attitude. I bought fried chicken was only a few left in the tray sitting to long hence why I asked if fresh ones were coming out then once I bought it fresh bach came out. Before all that happened was hoping to get a dish but looking at some of the food glad I didn't some of them where dry had been sitting longer. I wouldn't come back due to where it lacks not worth my money & time . They need to be more friendly to customers take up customer service courses...also know there on peak & off peak to ensure fresh foods available instead of winging it . Prices are higher compared to where I always go already .... Up to the individual's to go to this store but hey I've given...

We really like New Star Takeaways - it is our got to place for Chinese in Papatoetoe. We always get the Number 8 special, it comes with sweet and sour pork, fried rice, chicken stirfry and 6 won tons. They are really consistent with the quality and it is tasty. We are a family of 3 and it is enough for 2 nights dinner, they really pack it in. The place is always busy, people seem to love the buffet plates and the chicken wings and chips are popular too. We've been going her for years and they will continue to be our go to...

First timer and the fish tasted horrible it was so small in a $8.50 deal. Felt I was just eating the coating wich was overfried and too oily too also they could not provide the ingredients of the sausage just told mixed and when I swapped to crab stick which tasted fine and the chips ok but they charged 50c extra to swap.First and last visit here was just wanting to try it out as I was craving for fish and chips that evening here not...
