The Flaming Tandoor — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

WORST FOOD EVER !!! I ordered food for the whole family on a special occasion for the first time from this restaurant, which was my mistake. Most of our favorite places were shut down due to their staff members were in isolation so we ended up ordering food from this place. Firstly , delivery took close to 1 hour 30 minutes however we were told 40 minutes Followed up up by calling 3 times. We found them big liars. Secondly , Food had no taste , flavor except extremely spicy and we had told to make medium. Their Indo Chinese dishes were terrible and we couldn't touch touch. We asked to make semi gravy and they made it extremely liquidly ,Manchurian balls and cheese pieces were floating in the gravies. Indian dishes were not good either. Naan breads were so thick and not cooked properly, I good sick after eating their food luckily I have had little bit. I would not recommend this place at all. Completely waste of money. We especially told to make it well as we were ordering for the first time. First impression is the last. I can cook better at home that the chef of this restaurant. Unfortunately I can not go below one star, my kids love butter chicken, so orded from this restaurant only because it was on our way. We ordered large thinking it would be enough for Atleast two.... In that large container, thy gave only 5piece of chicken? How are SUPOSE to share this among two kids... Two and half chicken piece each with a bowl of sauce? Pathetic and cheap. The taste was very watery, seems like they have added water to the sauce with lots of sugar and dumped 5 piece of chicken in it. Total waste of money!! I see lots of negative comments here....i don't think. It matters much to you guys as you are not improving... AND I MEAN NOT 9 OR 10 BUT ONLY 5 PIECE OF CHICKEN, WHICH MEANS 2.5 SMALL PIECES FOR EACH CHILD. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT? Not value for money. Placed online order for dhal makhani today, price was 9.99. On checkout was given option for large at additional 5$ - thats like 50% of the whole value. Opted for the large portion and paid 14.99. What I was given was not worth the amount, when I told the guy behind the counter that this is not something near to what I paid for, he started showing ne container sizes which had mere difference. I told them I was happy about this but they seemed least bothered about it. Hearing the conversation someone from the kitchen asked in loud voice coming towards us what the matter was, it was explained in a foreign language and they both disappeared in the kitchen.

We are not fools and understand the dirty politics you play. Guys just be aware of these people, dont waste extra money for large portion, certainly not worth. Got to Paradise Sandringham and you will get double the portion at a much...
